I got kinda caught up in Dig Dig Dino but to be honest, I‘m lagging behind in giving the newer games a fair shot since the release of the Switch 2 has distracted me slightly

Lol the guy complaining about an 800 square feet apartment. That’s 74 square meters and as big as our neighbors apartment who are a couple with a kid. Not luxurious but here in Germany that’s average middle class.

Our apartment complex also doesn’t have parking but walkable access to three tram lines and another three bus lines, so it’s not a huge deal at all but I guess you won’t have that access in Portland.

But I want higher res than my eyes can resolve so I can brag about the specs even if it tanks the battery life

Vermutlich nicht, da Musk als Ausländer nicht Präsident werden kann. Klar kann er versuchen diese Regeln zu ändern, aber das würde ihn umso unbeliebter machen

Also kinda annoying when people post the same thing to the same community at the same time on different instances.

Posting it later if your first post doesn’t get replies? Fine. But at the same time, it just creates a lot of noise in people’s feeds.

Holy shit, I was vaguely aware of this site but I never heard of the whole Byuu situation and just googled it. It’s pretty fucked up.

Yeah and something that is useful for all kinds of situations like circumventing geo-blocking as well. So it's always a good idea to have a VPN.

Yeah I‘m rarely riding my bike in my city because it’s just too dangerous and there‘s good public transport as an alternative.

Even as a pedestrian I see people with their cars crossing red lights in front of me at over twice the speed limit at least once a week.

I used them on some projects but it feels like copilot is still the best application of the tech and even that is very ummm hit or miss.

Writing whole parts of the application using AI usually led to errors that I needed to debug and coding style and syntax were all over the place. Everything has to be thoroughly reviewed all the time and sometimes the AI codes itself into a dead end and needs to be stopped.

Unfortunately I think this will lead to small businesses vibe coding some kind of solution in AI and then resorting to real people to debug whatever garbage they „coded“ which will create a lot of unpleasant work for devs.

I ran into a strange issue with my GameCube and I'm curious if anybody has seen anything similar before. The audio drops out every second or so. The weird thing is that it works perfectly fine on some boot cycles even after hours of gameplay and then pops up during other boot cycles right from the beginning.

It's pretty random but it always either happens right from the start or not at all. It occurs with games from disc and games from SD card. Maybe faulty capacitors? A wonky power supply (mine is an original)?
