Oh and it fixes the titles too, very nice

You can change the audio track but you have to do it on every video. What's more annoying is it can't even decide on a language. I've had both Spanish videos auto dubbed to English and English videos auto dubbed to Spanish.

If the infrastructure/driving conditions are bad enough you run almost the same danger when driving lawfully. Eventually you learn to trust your senses more than traffic laws. Sometimes it's actually safer to break some laws as a pedestrian/cyclist. Maybe people who ride a lot get used to it eventually and don't see running a red light (when no cars are passing) as more dangerous than going on green.

Their "booming" is also kinda funny https://youtube.com/watch?v=6IEk57nYb8o

This book btw, Last Chance to See is totally worth a read if you're interested about wildlife (or like Douglas Adams).

Maybe a niche use case, it's extremely handy for testing an application with multiple users. Everyone else at work seems to be keeping 3 browsers open at all times just for the separate logins.

If you count it by time then honestly the subway. Going to most places requires a long ride and I usually just chill reading a book.

TIL not to trust online availability (this happens way too often). Would calling beforehand actually help or just bother the employees more because they're busy and probably won't look?

Si no estás en una oficina y no tienes pantallas extra podrias cambiar de lugar cada rato. Como escritorio -> cama -> sofá -> balcón. Ayuda con el aburrimiento también.

Then why the hell is it on your website?

I think the windows emoji picker has ascii emojis but yeah it's missing from the others. If it's only a couple you can add them to a shortcut or pin them on your clipboard.

I also tend to switch to their language automatically

Sad language learner sounds

Honestly with public transit counting distance in km makes even less sense. Commute times to subway-connected places vs bus-connected places differ wildly. It's easier to just use the time directly instead of the distance.

At times I need to open the developer console/inspect element panel from my phone. The Kiwi browser allowed you to do that but its development has stopped. Are there any other browsers that have this function? Either chromium or firefox-based is fine. Alternatively, do you know of any other workarounds for this that do not involve a computer?

¡Buenas! Empieza lemmyvision otra vez.

Disclaimer: it feels like a lie to claim this is Athens as it usually looks nothing like this but this specific part was very pretty.

Some context here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thessaloniki_Metro

This seems to have flown under the radar a bit but it's a similar case to the metro project in Ho Chi Minh. It took an eternity to finish with the first hole being dug in 1989 and it finally opened to the public last month. It had become kind of a meme due to all the delays and changing of hands among now-bankrupt companies and with every government promising to open it (it's had at least two opening ceremonies years apart). Now a month later it's still having issues and is really small, mostly serving the center but it's the first driverless metro in Greece with modern stations and also featuring a museum so it's promising.

Well, future landmark. This was fun, kudos to those who did it the whole month.

Based on a comment in my other post, tried to get a similar effect with a subject in front. Not the same but turned out nice. Getting fish to cooperate is HARD.
