Thanks for the encouragement. I don't think it read very well, so I deleted it. I think it belonged in a journal, not online.

Embrace the dark circles
Me everyday when I open the fridge in the evening and stare at the cheese
I say go for it
Grey or black trackies, black hoodie, a chain, and an earring. This is the outfit of 15-18 year old boys who roam the local shopping centre and wanna be eshays hehe
As someone with very prominent genetic dark circles that never really covers them up because they look ashy with concealer and I'm too lazy to colour correct:
- what is the point of concealing them? I think the circles kind of make me look sick, but if people are offended by that, that's their problem. I simply don't have enough spoons most of the time.
- is a free smoky eye (you can turn it into a smoky eye somehow apparently)
- could be a good idea to determine if they're genetic or something else like a vitamin deficiency. Unfortunately genetic ones you can't really get rid of or so I've heard?
- get a concealer that matches your skin tone as lighter ones, which are commonly used in the beauty community, can look a bit unnatural
- colour correct with a salmon, peach, or red colour corrector depending on the colour of your circles. Vary the lightness (I know this is the wrong art word) of the colour according to your skin tone.
My mum sent me this photo, and I didn't even notice the bird at first. There was more going on in the background, but I cropped it to reduce the likelihood of being doxxed.
Reminds me of this
Thank you!!!!
Been craving hotpot lately but am cutting back on eating out. Made microwave "hotpot" and it actually turned out well. Put some thinly sliced beef rolls, chopped bok choy, mushrooms in a broth made of water, soy sauce, sesame oil and garlic. The broth didn't end up being super flavourful, but I made a dipping sauce with sriracha and hoisin to mimic the one I'd use for pho. Served with rice. Might make this again tomorrow.

Thank you very much for the comment you made on my post about beans and rice. I am in survival mode with burnout, and eating has been tough. I am currently cooking rice in chicken stock and adding red beans and some herbs and spices that I have, inspired by the recipe you linked. ๐
