Ugh. Dark circles. I’m wondering if it’s worth trying to buy a concealer or something.

As someone with very prominent genetic dark circles that never really covers them up because they look ashy with concealer and I'm too lazy to colour correct:

  • what is the point of concealing them? I think the circles kind of make me look sick, but if people are offended by that, that's their problem. I simply don't have enough spoons most of the time.
  • is a free smoky eye (you can turn it into a smoky eye somehow apparently)
  • could be a good idea to determine if they're genetic or something else like a vitamin deficiency. Unfortunately genetic ones you can't really get rid of or so I've heard?
  • get a concealer that matches your skin tone as lighter ones, which are commonly used in the beauty community, can look a bit unnatural
  • colour correct with a salmon, peach, or red colour corrector depending on the colour of your circles. Vary the lightness (I know this is the wrong art word) of the colour according to your skin tone.
