Every period of market instability ends with the rich ending up with a greater share of the total wealth, which is all that matters when you're that rich. Number goes down, sure, but they don't generally need to sell shares to survive.

Sounds like you don't know much about their relationship. Even if they are still in a monogamous relationship, the way I see it, that's between them.
Probably smart to clarify the bounds of your relationship before you get too far, but I'd say go for it.
Rate my resume lie:
Saying I was not working the last 10 years because I stayed home with my child. I made a little "Family Caregiver" resume blurb, that in hr speak says my kid is now in college and I'm ready to work.
Now, I have no child, but this 10 year gap is killing me, and it's the best lie I can come up with that can't be disproven. It's not the most ideal thing to have to continue to lie about, but I need a job.
What do you think?

https://github.com/calibrain/calibre-web-automated-book-downloader
These are crude downloaders with WebUI's for downloading audiobooks and ebooks respectively, using annas-archive and audiobookbay. I recently connected them up to Calibre-web-automated and Audiobookshelf, so my less tech literate partner can easily download and read pirated books without any work on my part.
Nothing special, but it's basically like an *arr stack for books.
I got this message from an employer I applied to yesterday:
"We have received your resume and cover letter in response to our ad for (position) for (employer). We are currently reviewing all candidates at this time. If we are interested in learning more, we will contact you directly.
We wish you the best in your endeavors. We will keep your resume on file for 1 year."
Is that a rejection? Or is it just a weird way to acknowledge receiving my resume?
so if you apply for both and the question is asked "why you do that?", say you would accept either, but have a professional/rising star-sounding reason why you would prefer part time in your back pocket.
Yeah, that a good idea. I could say I want free time to finish my bachelor's degree online. I'll have to come up with some degree that doesn't make them think I'd be leaving for some other job.
How many watts do you get from that?
Sound Blaster cards had a game port, but the Game Blaster didn't?
Woke up with the Baywatch theme song in my head. I listened to on on YouTube trying to exorcise that demon, but it's honestly kind of a banger song.
I've been doing Walmart spark gig work. One of my first orders was shopping for someone. They ordered 5 gallons of whole milk, 28 chocolate cookies, a box of double stuffed Oreos, a chocolate cake and a bra.
I get all the stuff in the order the app tells me to, which has the bra last. It doesn't say which size, so I end up having to scan every one, none of which is correct. So I tap the button to say it's not in stock and go to check out. Right before I get there it says, "Order cancelled. Give the cart to an associate or leave it in a safe place."
It's late and no employees are around, so I just end up leaving the cart full of milk just sitting there, because I'm not getting paid to stock shelves.
The whole thing was bizarre, but at least I still got paid $12.
