Sign up for class action settlements. Every few months I go to topclassactions.com and go to the open settlements section. I sign up for every one listed that doesn't require proof of purchase. I also double dip by signing up in my partners name.

It's not a ton of money but I probably spend an hour doing it whenever I think of it and occasionally get some surprise money a year or so later. Usually they end up being only a few bucks, but over the years I've gotten thousands from it. Just got 2 $89 checks last week.

I've had luck finding pdf repair manuals on torrent sites and on web forums. The Haynes/Chilton physical manuals are convenient sometimes, but the factory service manual in PDF format is usually better quality especially the diagrams.

I found this, it's for a 2014, which I believe is mk6: https://www.dropbox.com/s/s7wts7x85s2yu9e/2014%20Fiesta.zip?dl=0

Hope that helps, enjoy!

These posts always make me question myself because I've basically never worn deodorant or antiperspirant.

I've had jobs where you can't be stinky(sales, office jobs, at a hospital), and nobody has ever said anything. I've lived with partners for 16 years, none have ever complained about my smell(besides times when anyone would smell, like after a long run on a hot day).

I'm guessing I just have lucky personal body chemistry, but I'm sure there will be some people telling themselves I'm just smelly and don't know it.

Learning to do your brakes can save you a ton of money over time. Most of the time you can do a complete brake job with a basic socket set and a large c clamp(or anything to compress the caliper piston, like a big pair of channel locks or a specialized tool). I believe you also need a large hex key to remove the caliper slide pins on that car.

I'd recommend getting a torque wrench for safety reasons. Buy a repair manual or find a tutorial before you start and check what tools you'll need. A good guide will include torque specs for the caliper mounting and slide bolts.

Many auto parts stores will do free loans of specialized tools, like spring compressors, bearing tools, pullers, etc. I've saved tons by borrowing tools from AutoZone.

Don't force it if a bolt won't come loose. Apply penetrating oil and wait, if it still won't come loose apply heat and more oil.

Have fun!

Mayo on chicken before cooking. Mix a bunch of spices in it and slather it on.

It's actually pretty amazing. It keeps the chicken from drying out and leaves a spicy crust.

Are you sure it's the ram? I had a bad motherboard that did basically the same thing. I was swapping pci cards around and it would eventually work. Turned out it was the flexing of the motherboard that got it working again.

I can't even begin to imagine what she'd do about the Gaza war.

Pop pills and give the ok for whatever the Pentagon wants to do.

So not much different than what Biden is doing, just different pills.

I don't know about that. A lot of younger people still prefer Biden, but are pretty disillusioned with him, which isn't something that can be seen in those polls. Low turnout could hand Trump a win.

I still think Biden has a slight edge, but it's going to be a lot closer than it would have been before October.

The smug ignorance of Bill Maher makes me so fucking angry

I use PIA because it was the cheapest on their 3.3 year plan, and it has a good node geographically close to me with port forwarding. I only use it for torrenting, so I don't care if it's a CIA Honeypot or whatever.

The true mark of an alpha is telling people you are an alpha

That's a great strategy, thanks for sharing.
