This is the right way to do it if you want to bet on China in general, rather than individual companies. These funds invest your money in a large number of Chinese companies, scaled by market cap of the companies.

Is that you, Pepper?

You aren't the first, and won't be the last person who thought they figured out a surefire way to make money day trading. Wall Street firms have access to so much more information, cheaper trades, faster execution, and can front run you if you're using Robinhood or one of the free trading platforms.

Maybe you're that .0001% that actually figured it out. I hope you are, but please be careful not to delude yourself.

Drug smuggling, drug dealing, drug related murders and a lot of overdoses as well.

Fairly predictable outcome when you create psychopathic murder squads and then make them completely unaccountable.

My cat is such an asshole.

Whenever I do something he likes I have to be on guard because he'll attack me when I try to leave the room. I just had him on my lap petting him for 15 minutes, and when I left the room he carefully watched me until I wasn't paying attention and really clawed my leg, making me drop my coffee.

He'll also bite you if he's really liking how you pet him and then change it up.

He was a feral kitten that didn't like being pet at all for the first year, I'm sure the behavior is something related to that, but it's still really frustrating. It's like he doesn't want me to be nice to him, even though he's generally a sweet cat now.

That kind of stuff happened all the time when I was a kid 30+ years ago. Kids feel invulnerable because adults can't get away with assaulting you just because you were an asshole.

Although we have less of them, and they're more overworked, we have humans operating the trains who do that.

I recently saw a clip of a person on a mobility scooter driving around the gates at a train crossing. I was seriously impressed with how much the train was able to slow down. Totally saved that persons's life.

My father in law bought me a camo "Harris Walz" hat. I don't know why.

Last time I saw him we got into an argument about the genocide in Palestine, so probably he thinks I'm a Democrat. I think it's maybe a subtle jab about them losing, but he has in the past claimed to be a Democrat, despite vocally hating every Democrat besides Biden since I've known him. He had a little smirk when I opened it, so I'm sure he thinks it's some kind of dig.

I've been wearing it around the house and my partner laughs their ass off every time. So I'm getting more use out of it than the usual trash he gives me.

I live in a place where way too many people drive pickups, and I've been seeing a lot more new Toyota trucks in the last few years.

I think it's because they're almost as big as an F-150 now and they sell them with factory lift kits and all the luxury crap that makes them look like any other dumbass Chevy Childsmusher 1500.

The usual practice is to pardon a handful of people to improve the optics of pardoning cronies and rich campaign donors. They call them "packing peanuts", the people they pardon to protect the ones they really wanted to give them to.

Very apt that it's called "casting a pellet" because that was magical
