Nearing the 3 month mark and I pledge to not drinking with yinz today.

I'm concerned that the upcoming bus/T line removals and adjustments will negate a lot of the traffic calming efforts. A lot of people will suddenly be forced to drive when they could previously take public transportation.

When I was living in a car I'd wardrive nightly to find Wifi. This was before Wifi was commonly available in public spaces, and household routers often used a default password or no password at all. I'd use it to pirate games and movies to keep myself entertained.

Later I moved into a 4 plex apartment and convinced the neighbors to share one Internet connection. We ran ethernet through walls and across the roof and split the bill.

You really shouldn't use your debit card for anything other than withdrawing money at an ATM. Credit cards are safer plus you get rewards.

I've been using the same anime torrent site for 22 years. Gonna be a sad day if it finally closes down as a result of these crackdowns.

I'm on vacation but it's gonna storm every day. Luckily I just picked up a retro game I've been wanting to play, so that should keep me entertained.

Oh I understand now. Forgive the misunderstanding - in my area you can take public transit or rented bicycles to campsites. And not wanting to spend the night around eachother regardless of separate sleeping areas is valid. Maybe a walking tour of a historical area in a town or city would be nice? There's sometimes free pamphlets or audio tours that can accompany a walking route.

Camping! Assuming that you and your friend would be fine spending the night in separate tents. Campsites are usually $30-$50 and often have pools, fishing holes, hiking trails, minigolf, etc.

7" non-OLED screen is a hard no from me, regardless of everything else.

I think it's interesting that Microsoft is leaning into Windows on Xbox devices. It lends credibility to the rumor that the next Xbox console will run Steam natively.
