That sounds like a lot of complication for a humble lawnmower.

Cuts still well enough, maybe next Spring.

I’ve been working a new roofed decking where BBQ and Ooni pizza oven will go. I bought the pizza oven as a bit of an impulse thing and didn’t really think where it will go, so now I have a building project to deal with.

Yesterday the weather was great so I just kept going for far too long for my age. It turns out roofing in April sunshine is exhausting and seemingly requires muscles I don’t appear to be using that often. On the bright side I did not burn myself as I slapped plenty of SPF 50 on.

I also did a good few walks with our dogs and explored new forrest paths we haven’t been to before. We knew of them but never got round going there.

I’d call this a very good week.

And totally no sore muscles tomorrow morning.

I need to complete the deck first…

I forgot suncream the other day. I will not make that mistake again. Until next Spring, anyway.

Working on a deck in back garden. Looks like the weather will be favourable.

I think you nailed it, a tempting target for spare milkshakes.

TIL a new term that I shall be using.

True, and you are probably not putting anywhere near enough salt to the water.

We are just covering all the bases.

Any news outlet will have a bias. If nothing else, the broader culture a news organisation operates in will inherently influence their decisions.

I would say BBC is nowhere near the worst, though. Arguing they are Government controlled is just silly. You drawing a comparison to Russian media organisations is a load of tosh.

This is a try run with the new barrel bbq. As cheap as they come. Two types of kebab are in the fridge getting ready for tomorrow.

What’s the worst roast by a child you’ve suffered?

Long time ago my nephew asked what I did for work. After graduating from university I had a rather good job in a tech company. As I explained what I did his eyes glazed over in 10 seconds flat. After a while he interrupted: “So you didn’t like school, did you.”

During the last two weeks I needed to fly Ryanair twice for work. It was a good reminder of many of the reasons I hate that excuse of an airline with a passion. Just as an example, their gate staff humiliated a young lady to tears in front of the queues waiting to board just because her bag didn’t quite fit their allowed cabin bag dimension.
