Yes, He will. Because he's failed at literally everything else.

Tariffs blew up in his face. No deals. Economy is in the shitter. He wanted to be a strongman with his big beautiful military parade/birthday bash and he came out looking like a fool. 13,000,000 people turned out to tell him "Fuck You" on his birthday. And now he has the chance to be a war president? He's going to leap at the opportunity. Because not only is he unfathomably stupid. He's desperate to be respected. But this hypothetical war is turning even his diehard supporters against him. That's mostly from antisemitism when it comes to the chuds. They're more against helping jews than they're for attacking Iran.

Then there's the war hawks that have been doing everything in their power for decades to get the US to invade Iran. The John Boltons and McCains and Cheneys of the world. They're inhuman. They just want war. The more war the better. All war all the time.

The Reaganite wing of the republicans. They don't really give a fuck as long as they can deregulate, pollute, steal wages, and not pay taxes. They just want to make money. All it will cost to gain their support is enough insider trading info so they can buy into the right Offense Stocks before the hammer falls.

In all of these are AIPAC lobbyists. Throwing around bribes and blackmail threats to ensure support.

Trump will jump in like the fool he is. And it will once again be the young and the poor who pay the highest price.

That's the world we live in now. Just breathtakingly stupid motherfuckers wielding power and influence that is galaxies beyond their ability to manage or even properly make use of.

That's kinda like saying that the water in the ocean is part of why fish are able to swim.

The US never stopped. Never even slowed down. They literally just changed the name. I am 100% serious.

Pick a border. Whichever you're closest to. North or South. Look into making a plan. Crossing the border illegally is an option. Probably a better option if a draft is called. A charge and claiming asylum is preferable to being caught on the wrong side of a checkpoint. Fleeing war is a valid asylum claim pretty much anywhere on the planet.

Military recruitment has been all time low year over year for a decade or more. And Iran isn't Iraq. That is a modern professional military armed and trained just as well as our guys. This won't be a professional military vs an insurgency armed with homemade bombs and soviet era relics. If you want a peek at the attrition rates this war will have go look at the numbers coming out of the Ukraine war. On both sides.

Back when Bush's War on Peace kicked off my dad made plans to get me out. He looked up an old war buddy he was in Vietnam with who lived in Canada. They planned to smuggle me across the woodlands. Not through an official crossing. Thankfully that plan never needed to be used. But he was serious. And I remember how serious he was.

Long term enshitification is a feature of our capitalistic way of thinking. i/e never thinking beyond the next financial quarter.

Edit - And that is why we will 100% lose to China. Central planning will always outperform market chaos. Literally 100% of the time. Better, faster, cheaper. They plan ahead. They look ahead decades. We look ahead only 1 quarter. Just 1. They'll make 5 year plans and be very public about it to attract VC money to the rugpull. But 1 bad quarter and the whole enterprise is parted out and sold off to the highest bidder.

Can't wait for some serbian hacker with Xx69 in their name multiple times to destroy the US government because one of Elon's script kiddies left 42,069 security holes in the fucking system.

Gonna be awesome. lmao.

Doubled down hard. But it's ok. We're getting ours now. We're looking great on the financial markets. But it's all collapsing internally. Infrastructure. People are going hungry. Millions homeless because Private Equity decided it wanted to own literally all the houses and turn them all into rentals that are unaffordable for most people. Between climate change and racism we're months away from supply chain failures when it comes to food. On top of that AI is putting whole industries worth of people out of work. All with no safety nets whatsoever. Just this ingrained nonsensical idea that "Poverty is a choice".

We're at the state of late stage capitalism where the system cannibalizes itself.

I love that for them. After all the dancing and cheering as they did worse to the Palestinians. Music festivals. Beach trips and parties.

Good for them.

Clearly that is a great idea. As evidenced by recent events.

Iran will have nukes. They don't have a choice. Not anymore. It's existentialism at this point. Israel has been trying to engineer a war against Iran for more than 30 years. All the while Iran has played along. IAEA inspectors and all that good shit. And it was all for nothing. Iran knows that now. So does everyone else.

If you're an adversary to the US and its Imperial interests then its a matter of when, not if. Doesn't matter if or how closely you follow their rules. They will come for you in time.
