Of course that's the name of their company.

It is possible the poor weather kept many at home.

Right. Because I'm going to buy a ticket to DC, rent a hotel room, tell my friends I'm going... and then not go because it's raining.

A reporter who saw the vehicle said that it would look like a police vehicle from a distance and at night, but during the day it looked off, like you'd think 'that might not be a real cop'.

And they've identified the suspect and he's not a cop.

But if it was the other way around ... Donald Trump would be on truth social calling for that person to be hung...

Not just that, but he would be demonizing the whole Democrat party, saying how their dangerous rhetoric caused this and the party needs to be outlawed and its leaders arrested.

Or, just ignore him. Stop taking about him and his companies. Don't support his companies. Just starve him off the attention that he needs.

I get the appeal of Bambu printers, I've been tempted myself to get one... but the thing that keeps me away is that they are closed source and I don't want a world with closed source 3D printers because when the company goes evil - and they all eventually do - I don't want to be held hostage. I've fallen in that trap before and don't want to again.

Don't give them backlash, instead stop using their printers. Release your models under a license that requires the printer that prints it to be open source. Let friends and colleagues know the dangers of supporting such a company.

Foldables... and phones.

I'm sure this will result in lower energy prices.... right?

The solution is to have stronger privacy laws.

If everyone followed your solution then Graphene will become the normie os and Facebook will start targeting it. Choosing an esoteric system for yourself is a good way for a free people to protect their privacy, but it won't scale.

When we write our new constitution we need to include privacy as a right.

Let me guess, Warner will get the movies and Brothers Discovery will get TV and we'll end up needing to get 3 streaming services to make up for the 1 service currently offered.

I hope there isn't anyone flying drones that might hit the blades of the helicopter. I don't think one or two would be much of a risk, but if there are several people flying drones in the area it might cause a problem.

From the article: The Open Data Institute that I co- founded in London has taken on the challenge of international co- ordination for a new standard that gives users control over their own data. It is called Solid (for social linked data) and the technical details are controlled by W3C, the web standards consortium. Solid seeks to decentralise the web. The platform can be used to build new applications that request access to user data. This data is stored in such a way that users have complete control over it.

I was curious how well it would work for switching between projects at work. I manage IT for several different offices and sometimes it is difficult to switch between my many various projects.

I don't want a new roof. I don't want a loan. I'd rather be doing something fun.

I went in and bumped up the graphics to 'High' and it is beautiful and plays great.

If you want it free from GOG you'll need to be sure you have it setup in Heroic Launcher.

I've heard that the reason Puerto Ricans can't vote is because Puerto Rico isn't a state and it is states that choose the president, not voters. But what about expats living abroad? Do they just get to pick which state gets their vote? If so, couldn't Puerto Ricans do that too?And what about people in DC? Where do their electoral college votes come from?

I'm sure I'm missing something here, I'm just not sure what.
