My only complaint is that I can still see bread.

If I'm home alone I like to treat myself to a pickle-on-cheese amuse-bouche from time to time (IE. Every time I pass the pickle cupboard)

I was moving away from my Garmin watch for a variety of reasons, but this might be the nail in the coffin if they introduce or restrict their free offering.

Gadgetbridge might work but I don't know if it will sync with bike computers as well...

I need to squirrel myself away for a weekend and get stuck in. I know I'll love it because it's the kind of game I enjoy - the entry point feels a bit higher than I'd expected though!

Do you ever not listen to podcasts? I can barely keep up to date with 2 or 3!

Don't rule out running still! Cycling and swimming are both great but - especially as we age - our bone density tends to decrease and minor falls (or from a bike) can cause bigger issues.

How much mouse work do you do? I switched after 20 odd years of 'normal' mouse use and id struggle to go back now for anything other than FPS gaming to be honest! It was very easy to adjust with a few days of use.

The big two for me are

  1. "Behind The Bastards" - lots of episodes and it covers some really interesting stuff. They did a whole bunch on the ideological fathers of the current US administration which makes the current situation really well.
  2. "Mystery Quest" - an TTRPG podcast run by AngoryTom from the Yogscast. I can't stand a few of the people he often gets on (Yogscast regulars I don't enjoy), but his DM style is so fun it's easy to lose a few hours to.

I quite enjoy The Rest Is Entertainment for Richard Osman's take on all things media related. Marina Hyde is okay too, but she has some poor takes on a lot of things...

I've tried playing with the default tileset and it hurt my brain.

Does it get better?

That's a slightly bigger boy than my hario hand grinder!
