Try summit. I'm hopping between it and sync now. Thunder sometimes for the variations in feed but the comment issue persists and is an overall no-go

That's interesting. All the sync stuff feels the same between sync, summit, and thunder. I guess ymmv

I'm not really enjoying the communities that use bots to create posts, considering I have to follow multiple variations of the community subject matter just in case. The engagement is definitely more important to me and what I'm missing most from reddit. It's building up though.

The only place where I wish there was a repost bot is the BestofUpdates community (can't remember the name). I crave those stories and don't care if it isn't a human porting them over to Lemmy

My previous comment of praise got eaten by Lemmy. (draft saved, submitting comment, error) is that a sync bug or on the Lemmy side? I was excited that it at least saved a draft of the comment but it doesn't seem to be an option. Feature request?

The gist of my lost comment was that this app is great and I probably never would have found Boost had I come across this first. It's going to be a hard choice when boost finally comes out. Congratulations on a successful launch! I will be switching between this and summit for the time being

As far as far as I've seen, they're on the feed but are currently showing up as black boxes. Maybe the ads aren't fully running yet?

It took me a while to stumble across Summit. I'm really enjoying it! I've tried everything so far and, while each has something going for it, Summit has the most of what I think I want so far. Tbh it just reminds me of Boost, which I'm really looking forward to. But yeah, Summit is my current favorite.

All of the cheaper brand of Lowe's and Home Depot LEDs are absolutely terrible about this. In my experience. They work for a couple months and then flicker and die.

Which really sucks because the cheaper LEDs are still more expensive and don't last as long as the equivalent incandescent bulbs

Why is this downvoted? Legitimately, I don't know enough about this subject matter to discern why people are disagreeing with this poster, and why the disagreement isn't being verbalized.
