Okay, literally everyone needs to be taught how to fucking dress themselves. I don't care who you are, you most likely dress like trash. By which I mean inthink anyone that doesn't dress in some degree of alternative look by the time they hit 20 look like adult toddlers. Get a style

Every single man in my office dresses like they’re imitating what office workers look like. And it’s because that’s exactly what they’re doing. It’s maddening. You know who else picks out outfits like that? Moms shopping at OshKosh B’gosh.

Our dress code is nonexistent. Someone wore a Pikachu costume once and didn’t get written up for it. The bar is on the floor. Do some experimentation beyond wearing a purple tie.

So weird to me. I've looked like I'm in The Cure or in Disclose depending on mood but it's like.. a fashion sense.

Good Lord why is it that back in 2008 every guy heard about a purple tie being fashionable and it's basically the only advice dudes act on to this day.

I'll keep wearing cheap black t-shirts and jeans until I die!

[–] [email protected] 14 points 2 years ago

That's good enough

I've actually met that dude.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 2 years ago

I should point out, I mean literally. He sang for the band Cop of Fire. I didn't just mean I've met people that dress like that as a joke.

Big Israel flag as a cape?

[–] [email protected] 7 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I got a bunch of free ones and don't know what to do with them, clothes are expensive

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 years ago

Learn to sew. Israel flag shorts and Israel flag button ups. Full fit.

[–] [email protected] 10 points 2 years ago

My style is the cheapest T shirts from Amazon and whatever running shorts I got for christmas last year.

When I need to look professional I wear the cheapest polo shirts from Amazon and a pair of motorcycle jeans.

Reject fashion norms.

Embrace goblincore.

For real, fuck telling other people how to dress lmao. Cringe as hell behavior

B-but I need to be a conformist and bathe in the blood of bangladeshi women!

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 years ago (1 children)

But if we stopped wearing "fast fashion" the planet might choke to death in plastic trash a little slower!

Sublimating my desire to be a woman into fashion, call me the faberge egg.

I say high tides raise all boats.

As a straight cis male, I still remember the day, at 19 years old, that a person I trusted told me I dressed like a clown.

It was devastating and changed my life for the better.

[–] [email protected] 13 points 2 years ago

I would have taken that as a compliment. Don't see many people dressed as clowns.

Mrs. Frizzle-core.

[–] [email protected] 28 points 2 years ago

It took me literally years to figure out which women's clothing I look good in.

Wish I had someone to intervene. My wife was always supportive and never said anything negative, but now that it's in the past, she, too, admits it was awful.

I mostly just wear a shirt with Pepe Le Pew on it unless it's a special occasion.

She sounds awesome

[–] [email protected] 17 points 2 years ago

Am I doing solidarity by also looking like a fucking dumbass all the time?

[–] [email protected] 11 points 2 years ago

Most people don't know how to dress.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 2 years ago

might be easier for trans men as no one really expects men to have any idea how to dress

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 years ago

I just dress how I like, for comfort, dark shades mainly
