Incredibly, I created this in a single hyperfocus binge (with the help of my ADHD medication). I have the free time because I'm NEET atm. I recently moved back in with my parents, and this is is the kind of stuff I do all day to distract myself from applying to jobs. It'd been over ten years since I'd spent any quality time with family, and I've been reconnecting with my mom as mutual adults by watching wholesome boomer shows like Columbo and Matlock with her. After finishing an episode last night I went straight to my desktop with a couple ideas, and then twenty hours later here we are.
My Kdenlive power level has been rising steadily over the past year, but until I got my adderall prescription this month my projects had taken me several weeks or months to complete. The first edit I ever created in one sitting was the Superbowl crab I made last week (it took me eight hours). This project felt like lightning in a bottle---a creative muse took control of me.
I've been making memes longer than some Zoomers have been alive. I wish I got paid for this. :che-laugh:
Edit: I'm also on different antidepressants that are working better for me.
