Change my view - why buy a luxury car? Great, your car has a nice engine, it's smooth on the roads, has cool lights. But I genuinely don't get why people buy expensive cars when that money could go towards a house deposit or a mortgage. I guess they might not have a house to pay off when they're buying one of these cars, but some are financing it. Why pay for some commodity with money you don't have unless you actually need it to live?
Anyone have opinions on mesh office chairs? I've been thinking of getting one for my girlfriend.
It seems to be a case of either, 'you need to spend a lot' or 'don't spend a lot, they all come out of the same factory'
I have no option on mesh vs upholstery, but have strong opinion that any desk chair needs to be fully adjustable in seat height, tilt, back support, arm rest height. Because everybodyโs body is different and getting it set up right is whatโs gonna make it comfortable for you.
Happen to have a picture of one?
I was thinking something like this. For reference, I spent a lot more on a Steelcase Leap when I had business money to play with so this is a lot cheaper by comparison:

The one I have at work just had a one piece back but in the same mesh material.
Theyโre super comfy for long extended periods of time. I donโt think Iโve even gotten sore from sitting on them for too long.

Hit up a bar with some family friends that I don't know super well but had a good time. Goodnight all.
