Just do siestas like normal humans have been doing since the dawn of time
badposting
badposting is a comm where you post badly
This is not a [email protected] alternative. This is not a [email protected] alternative. This is a place for you to post your bad posts.
Ever had a really shitty bit idea? Joke you want to take way past the point of where it was funny? Want to feel like a stand-up comedy guy who's been bombing a set for the past 30 minutes straight and at this point is just saying shit to see if people react to it? Really bad pun? A homemade cringe concoction? A cognitohazard that you have birthed into this world and have an urge to spread like chain mail?
Rules:
- Do not post good posts.
- Unauthorized goodposting is to be punished in the manner of commenting the phrase "GOOD post" followed by an emoji that has not yet been used in the thread
- Use an emoticon/kaomoji/rule-three-abiding ASCII art if the rations run out
- This is not a comm where you direct people to other people's bad posts. This is a comm where you post badly.
- This rule intentionally left blank.
- If you're struck for rule 3, skill issue, not allowed to complain about it.
Code of Conduct applies just as much here as it does everywhere else. Technically, CoC violations are bad posts. On the other hand: L + ratio + get ~~better~~ worse material bozo
Rest is immoral
Toil is good for the soul
And that's why your bean dishes taste awful
Holy shit owned
Siestas have been great for my ability to actually sleep on time. Also, I seem to be able to get away with a little less sleep overall.
Every six months we should move the clocks forward by greater increments, and only ever forward. So the clock just keeps jumping ahead
I'm not against this in theory, but I think we should wait until we can do gene therapy to have infrared vision
We should change the clocks every day, set noon as the moment the sun reaches its zenith in every zip code.
Each zip code a time zone.
Don't ruin my peace by overpopulating the night. That's my time. /s
Seriously, probably would save a lot of energy to have more people awake during the night.
I read a thing that for most people 6x28 hour days are better for mental health instead of 7x24. You stay up longer and then sleep longer. Not practical except arctic bases, submarines, etc
Apparently a tiny number if people go insane though.
I think I could make it work if I made my own schedule. Sleeping during the day isn't that hard if you're strict about light exposure.
If I ever become a podcaster or something horrible like that I'd give it a shot.
I welcome daylight savings time. In fact, I encourage it to go further.
