Hey, I don't know how the rest of you community mods are doing this.

Maybe there's a more efficient way, but for the cavemen like me feel free to "!" link you communities here & subscribe with your alts from different instances to force federation.

Oh nice, does the lemmy_migrate github code cause federation to occur if we use our alts from the respective instance? It seems it should since it triggers subscription.... Let me test it out and get back to you.
