launching titanfall through steam opens an ea app installer and then immediately crashes (lemmy.world)

I have installed the ea app through lutris, but when I click on titanfall in steam it says it is running ea app installer, a popup ea window opens and crashes immediatly

bumping bc ea app and games running flawlessly when installed through heroic games is the solution to op's problem imho. am i shadow banned in this sub or something? o_O
