Community Rules:
~ 1. No bigotry. Hating someone off of their race, culture, creed, sexuality, or identity is not remotely acceptable. Mistakes can happen but do your best to respect others.
~ 2. Keep it civil. Disagreements will happen. That's okay! Just don't let it make you forget that the person you are talking to is also a person. This includes speculating about someones sexuality, no matter how "obvious" it may be.
~ 4. Keep it LGBTQ+ related. This one is kind of a gimme but keep as on topic as possible.
~ 5. Keep posts to a limit. We all love posts but 3-4 in an hour is plenty enough.
~ 6. Try to not repost. Mistakes happen, we get it! But try to not repost anything from within the past 1-2 months.
~ 7. No General AI Art. Posts of simple AI art do not 'inspire jamaharon' and fuck over our artist friends.

As a straight guy, is this true? I'm constantly ashamed of the way I look because I've been told by multiple people I have a "dad bod". They didn't really have any kind of tone. It was mostly just matter-of-fact, so I figured it must be an insult :\
Edit: Thank you so much for the the responses. I know I'm not the only one who's never received too many compliments, so I really have no idea how "attractive" I am
Oh fuck no. Dad Bods are hot as FUCK. Own it! People love to pretend to thirst over muscle guys, and sure they might be hot, but a good dad bod? Hnng.
I'll bite, what makes a dad bod. Like would you define Bert Kreischer as a dad bad or what?
Seth Rogan is the quintessential dad bod to me:

According to people who have seen me and told me I have a dad bod I can only guess it's a flabby, pear-shaped torso.
Dad bod = not in fighting shape anymore, but been team carry for so long that my own appearance is not a priority anymore
There’s obviously a lot of different body types that attract different people, but a lot of guys love that bulky/beefy/slightly overweight look of a dad bod. A previously athletic/muscular type that has gained some weight is my particular preference
