Community Rules:

~ 1. No bigotry. Hating someone off of their race, culture, creed, sexuality, or identity is not remotely acceptable. Mistakes can happen but do your best to respect others.

~ 2. Keep it civil. Disagreements will happen. That's okay! Just don't let it make you forget that the person you are talking to is also a person. This includes speculating about someones sexuality, no matter how "obvious" it may be.

~ 4. Keep it LGBTQ+ related. This one is kind of a gimme but keep as on topic as possible.

~ 5. Keep posts to a limit. We all love posts but 3-4 in an hour is plenty enough.

~ 6. Try to not repost. Mistakes happen, we get it! But try to not repost anything from within the past 1-2 months.

~ 7. No General AI Art. Posts of simple AI art do not 'inspire jamaharon' and fuck over our artist friends.

4. Memes are allowed. We're a small community, feel free to post memes or similar content. Funny things are good. If it becomes a problem we can discuss changing the rules.

Spoiler Guidelines

• Be mindful when posting spoilers or spoiler content.
• If you're making a post put "(Spoilers)" at the start of your post.
• If your post is an image mark it as NSFW.
• If you're making a comment use the Lemmy spoilers markdown.

When should something no longer be considered a spoiler? In general use your best judgement. If want something more specific,

• For films, wait until it's been released to streaming for at least a few weeks.
• For TV shows, consider the whole season as a spoiler until the last episode of the season has aired, then wait a few weeks.

No harassing mods on an appeal We can talk it out, and we will be acting in good faith when making decisions. If you disagree with a removal, you are free to message for clarification or to appeal by giving some added context.

Bans Bans will be set to a maximum of 365 days for humans, and a minimum of 365 years for bots. I believe people can change, so if you are banned for good reason, do know that it is not permanent, it is just a way to say “take time to grow and come back when you are ready”.

Glasses are considered by many to increase the appeal of a character, and some series use sets of glasses as a major plot device. Persona is perhaps best known for this.
