I might troll my company by asking if we can use it for our Slack IT help bot. The one we currently have is 100% useless and literally never solves a single problem anyone has, so why not switch? LOL.
If the Constitutional Court rules to drive Yoon out of office
It would be hilarious beyond words if they fail to kick him out of office. Governin' from the jail cell. LOL.
Maybe they can execute him while he's still president, and he can govern from beyond the grave.
Quite a bit also comes from south-east Asia. I can't remember the specifics (like exactly which country/ies), but the IWW did an international campaign at one point to try to organize along the supply chain to there, as part of its Starbucks unionization campaign.
Yeah, one of Biden's first acts as president was to restart the drug war in Columbia. The Columbian government isn't standing up to the imperialism in general; just to Trumps' overt and acute use of it for clout.
I suspect Mexico and Columbia are reacting more to the fact that Trump is making a spectacle of it than to the deportations themselves. Mexico has been a huge partner to the U.S. in its deportation and anti-migrant/anti-refugee policies all along, even under nominally "leftist" presidents who make a public show of alleging to oppose such policies. Especially as the U.S helped to militarize Mexico's southern border and move some of the violence there under Biden (I suggest looking up what Aviva Chomsky has said/documented about this).
Maybe they meant "Title 42" on the first legend, but labeling it as "During Covid" is breaking my brain. Like, imagine labeling any deportations at all since COVID started—and especailly when the pandemic was even officially recognized in 2021 and 2022—as NOT being "During Covid".
Anyway, good stuff otherwise. I have repeatedly pointed out the whole "more deportations during Biden's first year than Trump's whole first term" to liberals and they just stare back at me with a blank face. (And next time I see them, they're blathering the same shit they did initially, with zero shame).
Ukraine volunteering to be another Greece. Wish I could say it's surprising. But it's not those in power—or their U.S. masters—who will suffer, after all. Yeehaw.
In other words, the U.S. needs to be punished for stealing the Global South's wealth, rather than it punishing others for not being good enough thieves. LOL.
And the Global South needs to build enough political power to be able to force that kind of situation, because otherwise it's just a "macro" example of how workers are punished everyday in capitalism for not having the might to be able to own and defend the means of production without being destroyed by the state for non-compliance with corporate profit demands. As goes the capitalist-worker relation, so goes the empire-nation relation, and through it just a larger scale, global capitalist-worker relation. Global institutions like the IMF, the U.N., etc.—and also national governments—act toward global workers as the cops and domestic courts and agencies (IRS, etc.) act toward "domestic" workers.
So all we needed to deflate the "AI" (no such thing) hype/craze was for China to get in on it? LOL.
Turns out this is how we get universal healthcare.
...or, well, enough drugs to not care whether we actually have healthcare. But who's really counting, right?
