Somebody tweet at Trump that Zelensky is making a fool of him. Let's see if he does a Trump or stays a Biden.
ziggurter
The plan is also very impractical to say the least. For example, Venezuelan crude reportedly gets shipped to Malaysia, rebranded and sent to China. Who gets slapped with tariffs in this case? And also how do you even prove it? Or maybe that's besides the point.
Yes, it's beside the point. Trying to argue with the cop that he doesn't know the law. SMH.
He doesn't care. The law is just an excuse to do what he wants to do. He doesn't have to be consistent. He doesn't have to make sense. All he has to do is distract you with the pretense that there's some kind of rationale behind his actions.
Literally the whole basis for the liberal legal system. The rules are not for those who make/enforce them. They're for the dupes; the suckers.
Not that eggs are THAT cheap as Gunther would like you to believe, I just paid 5 heckin' Euroinos for 6 eggs
Yeah, that's actually way MORE expensive than in the U.S. Here eggs are at an all-time high of 8 USD (a little over 7 EUR) per dozen.
We do way too much fucking animal slavery. Even the double fucking pandemic can't make our eggs expensive enough to be reasonable.
Allegedly/anecdotally Aussies only want to remain so they can participate in the Commonwealth Games.
I'd be interested too. I don't know anything about the fed stuff personally.
Did they ever stop?
From what I'm seeing with online content creators, AOC unfortunately seems to be recuperating her image by launching mild criticism at Schumer. The party operating as designed....
TBF, I don't know a single anarchist in real life who ever took "Anonymous" seriously. Especially given the tight coupling between people who used that name all over the place (and their aesthetics) and 4chan reactionary doxxers and shit.
Though shit like that Mr Robot series probably helped whitewash it for the normies....
This part is funny:
The sensitivity of the apparent top-secret CIA building in Virginia is a matter of debate, given that its existence was well-known to locals.
People have a really weird idea about how the CIA operates. They think the building itself will be cloaked, like some kind of Klingon warship? Installed deep underground with a camouflaged elevator, like in some kind of James Bond movie? Or that it won't be known it is some kind of government building? Reminds me of the interviews with ex-CIA-agents where they're like, "Oh, yeah. Everyone knew who we were, especially the foreign media we were influencing." Liberls' jaws drop. "You can't do that...!"
LOL
More generally, though:
“Why are American taxpayer dollars being spent to maintain empty buildings?” a 2024 post from the official Doge account reads.
I can actually agree with this one, TBH. Not because of the money thing; that's irrelevant. But because those buildings should be converted into social housing. How many people are suffering from exposure and lack of security, privacy, and stability while the government sits there with huge empty shells (probably with the lights on and water flowing, by the way; that's what it's like with abandoned county buildings where I live)?
Of course, the usual "solution"—and probably the one that will simply accelerate the timetable of—is to sell them off to private bidders. Probably for pennies on the dollar, as a subsidy-that's-definitely-not-a-subsidy. So I don't buy that there's any good faith in the original statement....
Seriously. The brain rot is km deep. I can't believe the number of people who say shit like, "Schumer's behavior is disappointing. Instead, WE need to...." Fucking dipshits identify themselves with the party. And probably will until the party locks them behind bars...if even that snaps them out of it. Un-fucking-believable.
It's like the parasocial "relationships" people have with their favorite content creators, where they'll go to the ends of the earth to defend them no matter what they've done. Except worse, because it's to a soulless, artificial, social construct (a...ah, "ghost", if you will...as Stirner called it) that exists to exert power over them. Rinse and repeat for the state generally (nation, empire, etc.). Rinse and repeat for the whole system of capitalism.
They amended their fucking constitution to do it, even?! JFC
Just a million? Damn. I'm pretty sure that's around what corporate life insurance policies valued workers' lives at a couple decades ago when people were talking about the bosses (h)edging on their employees' deaths.
Cheap-ass king. (As opposed to a cheap ass-king, which actually sounds pretty cool. This has been your XKCD reference of the day.)
