Every now and then, I'll talk to a Cuban refugee, and its no fucking joke how poor that island is. They legit scramble to meet really basic needs like food and energy.
In light of that fact, its absolutely staggering to see the average Cuban hitting the rip old age of 80, while Americans are capping out at 77.
Infant mortality figures are even worse for the US. 5.6 dead infants per 100k compared to the Cuban 4.18. A full King-Solomon-and-a-half more baby death from the nation that prides itself on being Pro-Life.
