Welcome to Ada county

This reads like someone who has a base level understanding of how a chromebook works in an educational environment. Also reads like someone (I'm assuming American) who doesn't know what CIPA is.

Yeah, it seems like most require it to be a new purchase and within 2 years of ownership. Fingers crossed you don't have any issues!

Every state's Lemon Law is different so you'll have to check with your attorney general. They usually have a webpage outlining their requirements for it to be considered a lemon. My car sat untouched at the dealership for over 30 business days (ended up being over 3 months before it was fixed) because the ICCUs are always on backorder so I was able to file a claim because of that

I filed a lemon law claim in February on my Kia EV6 because of the ICCU failure. They repurchased the car about a month ago and now I'm just waiting for a refund check since I had to make a couple payments waiting for them to schedule the surrender of the car

It took over 3 months to have the ICCU replaced in my EV6. I filed a lemon law claim on it and Kia is buying it back

Localhost denotes the device itself. It would work if your phone were running a web server with the cafe's menu hosted on it

My brother ran into this while car shopping on a reputable Utah based Toyota dealership's website. It was a powershell script that downloaded and executed something from a base64 encoded Bitly URL. Bitly took down the URL so we couldn't see where it was redirecting.

It seems like attackers are embedding this in vulnerable legit websites

Batteries, motors, underlying components get hot. Need cooled.

I betting most people who are sharing their media have Plex Pass to take advantage of hardware transcoding

People remote streaming won't be charged as long as the owner of the server has an active Plex Pass subscription

For users who have an active Plex Pass subscription, remote playback will continue to be available to you without interruption from any Plex Media Server, after these changes go into effect. When running your own Plex Media Server as a subscriber, other users to whom you have granted access can also stream from the server (whether local or remote), without ANY additional charge—not even a mobile activation fee.

I had my pitchfork out and ticket to Jellyfinville in-hand. I read the blog post and saw this myself. I'm wondering if it's a matter of time before they want to screw over my family though

I've been keeping an eye out for the BD790i X3D since they confirmed they'd be releasing it in March. Looks like it's available in the EU but I haven't found it listed on the minisforum.com website yet

Edit: looks like they added it to the US site: https://store.minisforum.com/products/minisforum-bd795ise?variant=46451384385781
