Thanks! hearing other similar stories validates my experience as being normal so it's still helpful.

Sigh. Got the real inferior feels today. My co-worker somehow managed to interview and land a new job within two weeks whereas meanwhile I've been applying and interviewing for roles in the same areas over the last few months with no success and feedback ranging from 'we hired internally', 'too much experience' and 'not enough experience'...ugh maybe I just suck at my job.
So happy that doggo slept through the night! Before we took her in for surgery she would wake up every night between 4-5am needing to throw up. Post-surgery she would get the crazies after 1am - crying, running around, wanting to go outside to do her business/throw up (sometimes all at the same time). Vet examined her/did bloodwork and said nothing suspicious came up so we figured it was due to her being in pain. Fingers crossed she's now on the mend (and that we can actually get some sleep this week).
Does anyone else's dog get really anxious/restless when it's windy? My dog came out of surgery on Tuesday so she's already a bit out of it but I feel like the wind is making her even more on edge! I've given her some calming cookies so hopefully they kick in soon.
Is it worth adding a profile summary to my linkedin? I haven't really done much there other than add my current job details. My current job is ok but I am also keeping an eye out for other jobs....
yes but yours is cheaper
snuck out for a very successful Friday lunch and wine! It's now mentally-checked out O'clock....
Haha i'm sure the peak hour commuters would love that
That's a good tip! I saw Netflix just released some new yoga series which I've been meaning to try out
side planks (focus on using glutes), bird-dog and another one which involves lying down and holding my core tight (forgot the name)
I'm a fairly heavy gym-goer and feel pretty good with my deadlifting as of late, but I still have issues with my mobility when squatting. I keep listing to one side which is preventing me from progressing. My PT has been recommending mobility warm ups/exercises to do before my set...but I'm also just sooo lazy when it comes to doing them so I just...never do them. I should try and fit them in before I go to the gym so I don't have to worry about them once I get there.
Thanks for the tip! I will try and brush up my Linkedin, added a few things over the weekend but probably need to highlight those transferable skills in my career history. Also will use the 'privileged white man' mindset next time :D
