what the fuck does this mean?
i often buy books on a DRM'd store or a paper copy, but then download the epub to put on my e-ink tablet so i don't have to deal with the shitty DRM'd app it would be stuck in.
I'm travelling to Florida right now and I can't view pornhub or any if it's owned brands, which is a lot of adult content right now. It's apparently like this in 17 states. That's a self-imposed block, but it's because those states have ID check laws that are so invasive that they're rather not serve to those states.

i only recognize bleem as two possible things. dropout.tv's Brennan Lee Mulligan or the company that emulated playstation games on the dreamcast, got sue by sony and won, setting the precedent that emulation is a legal process, but folded under the weight of the lawsuit anyway.

Love this little guy! Clear picture, very little CRT whine, super adjustable, and excellent scanlines. Just an adorable and beautiful little PVM.
My wife got me this silly little plastics phone holder thing because it looks like an old CRT and she thinks it’s silly that I love them so much.
Gotta love a nice macro shot of some scanlines.
This 32” beast of a trinitron has been RGB modded and accepts composite, S-video, and of course RGB. Geometry isn’t perfect, but it’s close enough to sit back and enjoy!

Yeah, they curate their service with people they specifically invite. At least for a while, no idea if it’s still this way, every channel owner on Nebula was a part-owner to the service and had a vote in major platform decisions.
I think this rules, personally. It makes me feel great about subscribing knowing that everyone there has a vested interest in the platform as a whole succeeding and producing worthwhile material. On the flip side, there are really good channels on YouTube that I wish were on Nebula, and I think would be a good fit, but there’s not really a process for suggesting them to the platform for invitation.
