if you used stable-diffusion-webui it saves the settings in the image metadata

Oh, of course there is a way. Just open the binary in radare2/rizin/ghidra and look for suspicious code. Of course this is quite time consuming to do this with a binary file, so if you compile opensource code yourself you can at least read the annotated source. If you do not have the expertise to do this, you have to choose who you trust and be careful in general.

A sandbox VM can be just a Linux or Windows VM that is running on your local hypervisor and properly firewalled and configured for security, or in a container (less secure). If a software goes rogue it will likely infect only the VM (unless it knows a hypervisor escape). Proper virtual firewalling can help protect your home LAN.

An operating system that helps you do all this without requiring too much manual work is for example QubesOS.

Don't know about that app, but it is very easy to create a file that contains malicious code that is not flagged on virustotal at all.

'joe sandbox' and 'hybrid analysis' offer online services where the file gets executed to test it for malicious behaviour. Of course a seasoned malware developer can detect sandboxes and make the malware hide itself while inside the default sandboxes.

Just avoid running random binaries from untrusted sources; prefer open source or, if you must, use a hardened sandbox VM yourself to run untrusted code.

Indoor gardening/hydroponics. Even in the smallest flat you can grow your own salad, peppers, radish, tomatoes, microgreens, etc.

Like a tiny stardew valley at home.

Don't want it to look like church? Take care to get a uniform that fits. It is basically a suit and suits look silly when they are the wrong size. The cut for a blazer is designed to be worn fitted, too large will be as uncomfortable as a too small blazer. Same goes for shirts, a fitted collar will look and feel better than a loose one. Proper sleeve-length is important too, otherwise your hands look tiny (too long sleeves on blazer) or your arms elongated (too short sleeves on either blazer or shirt). The sewing pattern for a classic blazer is designed to be easily altered, even multiple times, make use of that. A shirt cannot be altered that easily, pay most attention to collar size and sleeve length.

A well fitted outfit will feel (and look) a lot better than a sloppy one, especially if you have to wear it every day.

As for not sweating yourself to death, avoid standard issue mixed-material shirts (e.g. Trutex standard) and try to get pure cotton ones instead - the difference during summer is huge. Same for proper socks, avoid synthetic materials. Cool feet help a lot to control body temperature. Wear a tshirt under the shirt, it will help to avoid the shirt fabric sticking to your skin during hot days (which makes it feel even warmer and uncomfortable) and it will prevent tears of sweat in general. Bamboo tshirts are amazing.

I wear a suit for work every day. Hope this helps a little.

Vote is currently in favor of keeping /r/StableDiffusion open - 1200 to 800

Yes, but it if they make it contraband then the open sharing will stop. If they tell the general public it is used to create illegal porn then it will be seen as nothing else. It still feels like sorcery to me sometimes, these mundies will certainly call it witchcraft and sharpen their pitchforks. If posession is made illegal then very few people will dare to share it. Being labeled a pirate has at least honor, being labeled a pervert is something else.

My point is: I think it is not enough we have models and code, it has to become part of many more people's jobs now so they want to actively protect it and lobby for it.

SD is an amazing tool for basic photo editing, restoration, indie games and simply art. But most non-techie artists I talk to either cry about stolen copyright or some artisan fantasy, claiming real art must be created through diligence. (And then tell me a week later how they just looove Adobe's Firefly and how magic it is).

Truly enchanting. Would you share the workflow or at least the model you used?

SD.Next is doing the weirdest things from time to time. The startup script performs various git pull operations on every start so it autoupdates parts of itself, causing itself to break sometimes. Depending on your installed plugins it might execute code from the web. It does not upgrade itself automatically though.

I recommend deactivating all autoupdate features and/or snapshotting your installation. (For example with an LVM thin volume mounted to its installation directory and snapshotting it before each start, this will also snapshot the python venv stuff).

A difficult comparison - the pencil is more like photoshop or krita. Drawing a (photorealistic) image from scratch requires mechanical skill. SD is something else, like a magical canvas that guides the pencil while you draw...

They could still try to enforce safeguards against generating with certain tokens, or only allow models with certain training data. Or the almighty copyright-claim-banhammer...

While we here know it is futile to censor a model without breaking it - they do not understand it.
