No question, but a suggestion: let people know who your sugeon was, and how they treated and continue to treat you. Come back regularly, talk about any complications you may be experiencing, and how your surgeon is supporting that.
Theres a lot of surgeons around the world now, but information about haw good they are is still really lacking.

Honestly, its pretty hard for an individual to move the needle on systemic issues regardless of skillset. Conversely, almost any skillset can contribute to building alternate power and challenging those systems. Study what you have a passion for, then get involved in the work.
The one wheel works by having the rider lean in a direction to go that way. The more you lean, the faster it goes. It balances by pushing the rider in that direction. The trick is when you are leaning and going very fast, but then the board loses power and can't push you anymore. Then the board nose dives and ejects you. I just moved and won't have home internet until tuesday, so I downloaded his entire geology 101 to watch while unpacking.
