Most data centers have some kind of service where you can request a KVM to be connected to the server. It's not instant as an actual human has to do so but a lot sooner than another human driving long distance. I guess in this case, it's a mid size company that is big enough to have multiple locations yet small enough to still manage to use on-premise infra instead of data centers.

Is Meta threatening us in the EU with a good time?

Less lethal round. There's no guarantee of its usage being non-lethal, only less likely to be lethal when using correctly.

These losers will use LLM again, and my prediction is it will make even worse errors. Mark my words.

Let's imagine BlueSky is absolutely decentralized and does not need to make money, would it have done the same? The answer is unfortunately yes. The other option is to get completely blocked in the country, which after all, does not help.

I'm in favor of decentralization but let's not pretend that dealing with authorities is not a problem for decentralized services.

Bought an old laptop for my daughter's first computer. She's going to just learn typing and some simple stuff. Not able to install Windows with a local account. Fedora KDE it is then.

I too have the same problem with German. After 3 years of continuous learning have I still not get the problem, when prefix of verbs comes at the end, over with. When the prefix comes at the end of the sentence, have I always the verb forgotten.

LLM is proof that even if you're extremely stupid, having access to information can still make you sound smart.

The vote showed that 80% of Germans hate AfD.

Good relationships go both ways. It's pointless to be friendly to an abusive partner. It's not just Russia but the US as well now.

  • Keep the account around but use some tool to delete all comments and posts everyday. I use Redact app on Android but there're many others. Reddit would not be restoring comments and posts if they are not useful to them. By keeping your profile and keep deleting everything, you are denying Reddit any chance from making use of your data.
  • Monitor when subreddit opens poll for re-opening and vote the "best" option.
