Vitaly got into hot water with Filipino law after he was seen grabbing a security guard’s hat and trying to take a gun from another guard during a stream. He was also heard threatening to rob a woman in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.

Specific allegations involve harassing and attempting to kiss security guards, attempting to seize a security guard’s firearm, and unlawfully recording individuals without consent.

Furthermore, he is accused of stealing a patrol motorcycle, an electric fan from a restaurant, and a tricycle—all of which were reportedly later abandoned—and fabricating negative online reviews for local businesses, as well as engaging in acts of vandalism.

Once the court cases are resolved, Zdorovetskiy is expected to be deported as an 'undesirable alien.' However, bother the US and Russia, where the YouTuber holds both passports, refuse to acknowledge and deport him. Until then, he remains under maximum security in Muntinlupa.

In the Clarion-Clipperton Zone, researchers found that polymetallic nodules-metal-rich rocks spread across the seafloor-may be creating oxygen in complete darkness. Acting like tiny natural batteries, these nodules split seawater into hydrogen and oxygen through electrochemical reactions, without sunlight or microbes.

This process, now called "dark oxygen," challenges the long-standing idea that oxygen can only be produced through

photosynthesis. It could offer clues about how life began on Earth-and how it might exist on other planets.

For those outside of the US, 8th grade would be about 13-14 years old.

Metal melted out of a car (npr.brightspotcdn.com)
submitted 5 months ago by [email protected] to c/[email protected]

The shiny puddles look like some low-temp metal melted and oozed out of the car as it burned. I wonder what part(s) melted, and what type of metal it is?

The picture is from a NPR piece about the current Los Angeles wildfires: https://www.npr.org/sections/the-picture-show/2025/01/09/g-s1-41784/los-angeles-fire-photos
