I really thought it was higher to be honest. That's even worse. Fully support it being raised, but not removed.

I think you're right. I see up to date posts and comments. I could vote and comment on posts, and I can see my comment when I'm not logged in.

I've been there before. It's a danger zone.

You're not wrong, but those flying fuckwits are an important and valid part of the ecosystem. Rewilding is all about doing away with some of our human conveniences that have made life difficult for all types of wildlife.

I don't think he's in it for party or country, I think he's in it for himself, his family and their connections. It seems like every move he makes is one that's going to benefit their little business empire and he's making a rush job of it because he knows he's only go a year left and Tories won't get in next election.

Also, I probably think there's probably a difference between making rude remarks in an expected forum as a part of a judges critic for entertainment, i.e. when we all think it's for show and he's playing a bit of a character, versus making rude remarks behind the scenes and he'd be expected to be out of character and be more amicable.

I've never trusted this slimeball. He uses sexual harassment as a comedy tool and plays on old homophobic stereotypes. It's always wound me up, but I've just always had this feeling that he's a villain off screen.

100% would not be surprised to find out these contestants we young.

I'm just waiting for his downfall.

I think it only kicks in at 1 million anyway, and I wouldn't disagree to it being raised to say 5 million, as it's entirely possible from a regular person to get a well paying job, and have invested and saved their way to that figure by retirement.

But scrapping it entirely removes one of the only ways that we do tax billionaires. One of the last thing I'd want is billionaire generational wealth.

I finally got around to seeing The Lighthouse and I still haven't quite got around to processing it.

It was intense and gripping. Great performances from both leads.

So sad. I love our countryside, but its been so long since I've seen a (live) wild animal that's not a pigeon, crow or fox near me.

Maybe that's just because I don't knock about in the wild as much as I used to, but I can't remember even seeing a bee this summer, just one bastard wasp.

Did you save it on your Lemmy client or elsewhere, as if it's on Lemmy, it may be better to join now rather than later, as you would like lose access.

Welcome to Casual UK. Feel fee to introduce yourself and have a chat.

How we all doing? How are we finding things on Feddit and Lemmy in general?

Have a natter.

It's good to share success so we can celebrate no matter how small.

So what mini successes have you had this week? What's made you do a little fist bump?

For us all get anything off our chest, no matter how small.

It's cathartic!

What's been twisting your nips this week?

I've wanted to do something similar myself for a while, because theyre always blasting loud music, doing drugs in plain sight, having hours long screaming matches, shouting abuse a people. All on an otherwise nice quiet flat development.

But I just I know for a fact that none of its going to get cleaned up and I'm going to have to look at eggy windows and walls until the sun fries it off...

I was on-call for work this weekend. The ever present threat of called online to solve someone else's problem.

Luckily nothing happened, I got to eat my Soleros on my balcony in peace, and got a some cash in my pocket for it.

What's gone well for you this week, what's made you happy?

Take a bit of time to reflect and share.

It good to appreciate what's gone well.

A new version of Jerboa is out, and I was immediately greeted by a popup saying the instance version is on 0.17.4 (?) and Jerboa won't work correctly until it is upgraded to 0.18.

The app just crashed when I tried to upvote a comment, so is kinda unusable, and downgrading isn't ideal.

Are there plans to upgrade?

I would @ tom, but seems that isn't working in the app either sadly.

While it did not become unfeatured at 00:00 midnight the day it was posted, I want to see if , I'm leaving this up for now to see if it does this midnight

Hi all,

This post is mostly geared towards other mods and admins, but any one else should feel free to comment with ideas or help if they want to.

I've been wondering if anyone is using any bots or other tools to help them moderate or generate content for their communities.

I'm going to be trying this bot to do some fun stuff, maybe posting regular threads, but it's going to require hosting and a bit of coding to do what I want to, so I thought I'd see if anyone know of any other good tools.

Additionally, It might also be nice to have some way of all mods across feddit.uk where we can talk about instance wide topics. Maybe I'm getting ahead of things, but I'd appreciate a mod community or something.

To be honest, I'm not even sure if I've found any mod tools on the platform! I've seen pinned posts, but no idea how to create one.

Happy to hear any and all thoughts!
