That is a great perspective. If it could prevent hijacking and original design ownership exclusivity that would be excellent. Good luck!

Yeah, I agree with your take. I can see why people are annoyed with the eggs and dragons cluttering the shops.

But that being said— Most of the models I’ve seen are ones you can pay the creator for a license to print and sell it for a profit. It’s pretty easy to find that kind of deal and the contract is explicit in their listing. So, the original designers will be losing business too since they bank off of making cute model files and collect passive income from people who want to print and sell the item.

Considering how much crap is on Etsy, maybe I’m missing something, but I am not sure why the crack down now—and on 3D prints of all things.

I actually think 3D printers at home will end up replacing a lot of things that used to be shipped from China. I’m already seeing the edges of this but time will tell if that trend keeps going that way. But I 3D print so, I notice functional things I can make all the time.

I think you make a good point—I wonder what site they’ll jump to?

They’re still allowing 3D printed items if the person selling is the origin of the model. At least that’s what I gathered from the article.

Agree! And to add for OP I’m sure the Fire Marshall would love to hear about how people can’t get in or out of the building. Fire Marshall is probably the fastest option for everyone’s safety.

Good for you OP for keeping your community safe !

Yeah same. Right? I feel like at least people on here bailed because we noticed manipulation like this.

Still—it’s nice to get confirmation. It’s still worthwhile.

Prince only goes up and wage only goes down.

I don’t think any single group is behind this—it’s just like a rumor that spreads in a Highschool. Not everything is black and white.

🔥🔥🔥

Yes, I agree wholeheartedly with you. They’re basically pirates. They’re pirates that wear suits.

We can’t forget that the USPS did operate in the “green.” Until Republicans in the 1990’s passed legislation that required post office workers a fat retirement pension. The pension program was specifically designed to run the “profitable” USPS into the “red.”

So, Republicans now 30 years later get to boohoo and cry about the inefficiency they manufactured to seize control of public assets to fill their own private suit pockets.

Sickening. Actually makes me physically ill thinking about this. I cannot wait for their comeuppance.

Oh that’s really scary—thanks for sharing that information. That’s what I was looking for and you’ve been helpful. I wouldn’t be surprised if that shift was also encouraged by the Greatest Generation and the Guilded Generation finally truly dying off — they were more the staunch blue Catholics of stereotype.

This article reports new scientific research into a Neanderthal-Human hybrid child.

Key excepts from the short article:

A recent study has used advanced radiocarbon dating to present a more precise age for the Lapedo Child, a significant archaeological find that reshaped our perception of the interaction between Homo sapiens and Neanderthals.

MAIN CONCLUSIONS The remains show both Neanderthal and modern human traits, and they have been dated to about 28,000 years ago, upending the earlier date range.

The dating of the Lapedo Child thus expands the debate on the extent and duration of human-Neanderthal interactions.

Another striking conclusion from the study is the idea that the site was abandoned following the child’s burial. The child’s death might have led to the site being marked as taboo.

GENETIC DETAILS Genetic evidence suggests interbreeding began at least 49,000 years ago and continued for roughly 7,000 years. However, if the Lapedo Child, a hybrid individual, lived around 28,000 years ago, then questions arise as to whether genetic exchanges lasted longer than previously thought or whether hybrid traits appeared in later generations.

NEANDERTHAL BURIAL DETAILS They studied bones from a young rabbit, found atop the child’s remains, red deer bones located near the child’s shoulder, and charcoal beneath the legs, thought to be remnants of a ritual fire.

The results revealed that while the rabbit bones were contemporaneous with the child, the red deer bones and charcoal were significantly older, indicating that they were not placed intentionally as part of a burial offering.

Instead, the rabbit skeleton is believed to have been part of a symbolic offering before the grave was sealed, as it bears a red ocher pigment similar to that of the burial shroud.

3D Printed a Ghost Papa V mask to wear at the Skeletour!

Hey guys! First post here. I hope the movie link works.

I am a Ghost music fan. I’m printing myself, and my Nameless Ghoul friends, masks for the upcoming Summer 2025 Skeleta Skeletour.

This is a prototype mask before I start messing with the settings to custom fit everyone’s heads.

Mask Printed on an Adventurer 5M Pro with a 0.4 nozzle. Filament is PLA Kingroon Green/Blue/Red. Layer height is 0.2. Took about 2.5 hours or so—I print slower than the printer is probably capable. Spliced with Orcaslicer.

Hope to post some of my other creations soon. :)
