It depends on perspective. If you look at the news, online on new sites or shareable news articles, it seems to rampant. If you avoid the news and look towards your community you’ll be far less likely to believe it. It’s the interconnectedness that leads this but at the same time you aren’t being educated and helping said evil. So it’s there, it’s not a populous as people think but definitely is there. Evil isn’t global, it’s the few. It’s the people outside that you interact with daily that aren’t evil.

I do red team cybersecurity. Basically I try and break in to systems. Putting blockers up in my place is always a challenge as I break through the, by sheer skill.

Porn I’m afraid. Starting as a way to combat boredom and loneliness and anxiety as a preteen has turned in to a fifteen year long struggle and descent in to various medications and treatments that only impede my ability to develop healthy intimate relationships. Nofap, yorubrainonporn, abstaining, none of it has been effective for more than three weeks of it. Even being a pen tester when the compulsivity hits, it’s me versus my skills. And it’s always a losing demoralizing battle.

Turn by turn was solid after a few days of use now. I like it

Organic I’ve been using today. I like it a lot, only downside I have is barely an issue which is for CarPlay it doesn’t allow a Split View on the CarPlay home screen only when the app is open instead. Nonetheless it’s great

Facebook: was the death of my grandmother. Had no reason whatsoever to keep otherwise. Instagram: got chronically on it and realized just how much anxiety it gave me. Snap: same as Facebook minus grandma, just didn’t care after my last long term relationship. Got back on for a buddy of mine to just meme at each other. TikTok:same as instagram. It was not healthy and the algorithm I was on was not helpful for quitting my addiction. Spotify: lack of high fidelity streaming, moved to tidal whilst I build up my hifi library on plex and then I’ll do plex pass lifetime.

Otterbox has been tried and true for me since the old HTC Evo 3D. It’s been solid on spills and long drops. I’ve shifted to more fashionable cases but if I’m camping I’m always swapping to the otterbox.

Hey Folks, I've been in college for six years now and have dropped classes left and right. I had been consistent in the beginning and, of course, Covid had caused a bit of problems with consistency. Since that time, my grades slipped. I've dropped classes as well. I should have graduated two years ago however i've been working to survive since. I've got roughly 40k in student loan debt. each time I try and take classes again, I manage to for about two weeks and then after i have some random event in life come in and just ruin my motivation. (death, sickness, major change in lifestyle, etc.). I've been working in a career that was based upon my major and it is a decently comfortable and consistent job (IT), with some stress just due to the human interaction, however I do have issues with debt (working well to get out of but won't be completely out of non-student loan debt until 2025). I'd consider going back in about six or seven years depending on how life treats me, but is it worth cutting my losses, start paying back student loans, and focus on my job? If I do manage to take classes, i'll have about two years worth of classes to bust through but I'm not sure if I can push that much effort back out.
