We’re getting the first videos of “select guests” getting access to Tesla’s Robotaxi service in Austin, and the level of polish leaves something to be desired.

For instance, one gaggle of Tesla influencers was dropped off directly in an intersection, leading to these wooly screenshots.

Like it or not, artificial intelligence has become part of daily life. Many devices — including electric razors and toothbrushes — have become AI-powered," using machine learning algorithms to track how a person uses the device, how the device is working in real time, and provide feedback. From asking questions to an AI assistant like ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot to monitoring a daily fitness routine with a smartwatch, many people use an AI system or tool every day.

While AI tools and technologies can make life easier, they also raise important questions about data privacy. These systems often collect large amounts of data, sometimes without people even realizing their data is being collected. The information can then be used to identify personal habits and preferences, and even predict future behaviors by drawing inferences from the aggregated data.

An assistant professor of cybersecurity at West Virginia University, studies how emerging technologies and different types of AI systems manage personal data and how we can build more secure and privacy-preserving systems for the future.

The absurdity of the proposal is already in the title, and shows how motonormativity is spread all over the world.

Berlin has a very good public transit system, and a few 30 km/h zones cannot be that bad.

I would love to hear opinions from someone who lives there!

Wenn ich "grünes Wachstum" lese könnte ich einfach nur kotzen.

If Trump says everything is great in the republican party I expect the opposite to be true. Are they imploding?

I just went to Trump's truth social account and after looking at just two posts the API is throttling. Would be funny if they're ddosing themselves because of some vibe coded client side bug.

@nordiesta@europe.pub It should work now.

However, there's a known issue when fetching communities by name if a user account exists with the same username. Lemmy uses the ! symbol for both usernames and communities, which causes ambiguity.

To avoid this problem, you should use the full community URL instead of the !name@instance format when searching. This ensures the server correctly interprets your request as targeting a community rather than a user.

Examples:

Using the URL format avoids confusion and ensures consistent results.

Yeah it's great. Especially for mods. It has some quite advanced features.

An sich bin ich auf jeden Fall dafür, dass die Altersgrenze erhöht wird. Praktisch aber schwierig umzusetzen.

It isn't E2EE if the server holds the keys

I'd also consider writing a script with AI, which you don't understand, as vibe coding. Basically if you wouldn't be able to do it on your own it's vibe coding.

In the US maybe but not in Germany, Austria and probably most countries in Europe.

I'm not a lawyer but I suppose it would depend on the ToS and if the user agrees to the recording and processing. But if it allows the extraction of the real identity of the user it's probably a GDPR issue.

@nordiesta@europe.pub I've created a bug report on the Lemmy GitHub project. I'll get back to you as soon as the issue is resolved!

Interesting. I'll investigate and get back to you.

Then again, you should always assume every image and link in an email from a company or service is designed to track you.

That's the reason why you should disable them by default.
