Re-nationalise. First thing he did is to cut the tax for the most wealthy and second is to ask everyone else to work longer for worst retirement pension. And it's under his presidency and government that the French economy as tanked so low. Not that the predecessor didn't have their share of the blame, though. In the end, these guys are delighted to have a fresh new excuse to push forward with austerity and ultraliberal measures and cut everything remaining of social en cultural welfare.

Yeah, Macron and previous governments are also very interested in dismantling entirely the welfare state, all kinds of public services, public healthcare, retirement pensions, culture. Of course he is happy to push the military budget, this will make his rich friends richer and happier. This defense budget and military inventory won't do any good once it falls into the hands of fascist that are aligned with Putin!

You have to be crazy to watch YouTube without an ad-blocker in this day and age! On mobile (Android at least), Firefox with ublock works well for YouTube.

I recommend visiting the Stasi Museum to anyone visiting Berlin. It's inside the preserved Stasi headquarters from back then, you can see some interesting gadgets they used to spy on citizens, very creative retro-tech used for terribly sinister purposes.

Hello all, Recently Firefox 137 was announces with the addition of HEVC playback with hardware acceleration support for Linux. I am using Firefox 137 installed via DNF on Fedora 41, but if I try to play HEVC video for example from my Jellyfin, it will have to transcode, if I go try this test sample it straight up not play, so what's up with that ? Playing content with mpv will work just fine. Firefox also reports HEVC decoding as supported. Same result with both my desktop with AMD iGPU and dGPU, as well as my laptop with just Intel iGPU.

Reminiscent of the renowned pastry from Bordeaux (France) le Canelé Bordelais, the main design element of this lamp is known to french mechanics engineers as cannelure.

I designed this lamp with the goal to utilize the spiral-vase 3D printing mode to create a beautiful object, with a minimalist, retro, industrial style.
