That does seem to be what 'antiwork' is about.

Yeah, the big lie. Do what we tell you and it will all work out. Nope. Work + Luck. Society isn't out to get you, it is just ignorant of you.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news my dude. I didnt make it this way. I assure you what I think doesn't amount to squat.

Sitting around and wishing for the good old days is just an insane notion of looking at the past with zero appreciation for the magic of the modern world.

I wish the world was fair, truly. It sucks, but realism feels like a better place to hang my hat.

I've had good luck with RetroDeck both docked and on the deck with multiple controllers. Not saying it is always smooth. But at least got it working in some emulators pretty steadily. They have put more effort into controls than I have seen from any other emulator aggregator.

How many hours a week working on fundamental science, art, entertainment, medicine, engineering, etc. If you drink from the fountain of modern society, you get the benefits and you share the burden of the costs.

Life is unfair. There are no free rides, nor should there be.

Not along your current methods, but cheap steam docks are cheap. Get one with ethernet.

Also if you have games installed to another steam host on your LAN you can download from there rather than the internet.

That was a great video. I mean for the tiny fraction of nerds that are deep enough into computer architecture and/or assembly. So like I said, great video.

Must. Drop. Pantaloons.

Yeah exactly. There is a problem, crypto is a solution. Fiat currency is also a ponzi scheme.

When I dual-boot it is always with a separate drive, less often does MS hose the bootloader in that situation. Normally it is findable. I dont recall havong to point it to anything.

I keep a usb boot drive with a number of images (ventoy), including "super grub boot disk" to get me out of these situations.

Here I thought it was based on the fact that humans are the worst and it is best to harness what little you can lest they take everything.
