That's a bit of a rose tinted view of certain past struggle sessions lol. They were not all positive or productive lol.
Everyone in the US, hog or not, has been effected soul melting way by the private healthcare system. It's something that cuts through put upon culture war ideology. The only people who sorta feel otherwise are young idiots too far away from the future ahead of them, or rich people.
Tbh, anyone getting actually mad at Biden over Hunter getting pardoned is kind of funny. Like, there's way way better reasons to have grown to dislike Joe. Oh no, the president pardoned his son for form filing crimes.

Blinken really is good about not having a public facing ego. He doesn’t need for the average news watcher to think him some political genius. He’s been quite fine propping up Biden’s faculties in the public eye, and hiding behind them.
I don't think denying the reality that the Kurds are in a shit spot really helps. Yeah, they do get used a tool for the US quite often, but that circles back to them being in a nasty situation, and thus looking for any sort of way out of it. I don't know what the best way forward is, but just saying they should just concede and accept the status quo is kind of anti-materialist imo
