Rain clearing from England and Wales with heavy showers in the southeast for a time. A mixture of sunny spells and isolated showers elsewhere, but breezy and feeling rather cool. Showery rain into northwest Scotland later. Tonight:

Remaining dry for many this evening though with some showers especially across Scotland where it will also be rather cloudy. Elsewhere plenty of clear spells allowing temperatures to fall. Tuesday:
