You might have been looking at the U4T which is a not silent switch

I love the Gazzew Boba U4. I think I have the 68g ones. They are super super quiet with a tactile bump perfectly at the top.

I started with the Zeal Zilent V2 (67g?) which are great but the switch has a little play at the top then the bump. I like that the U4 has the bump before anything else

Sorry, I haven't tried it as I have no need. I only shared it as an option that people might try and maybe it will fit their lifestyle.

See if the Graphene team supports the 10 when it comes out. If it does then get that and if they don't then get the Pixel 9 at a discounted cost and put on GOS. Then wait and see what happens with the situation.

Calyx is okay but MicroG doesn't work nearly as well as GOS sandboxed GPlay. eOS tends to be multiple Android versions outdated. I'd go with GOS, Calyx, Lineage, then eOS.

The Lemmy app Voyager let's you select and change the app icon. Maybe CoMaps can allow us to pick between all six of these (after refinement) icons.

Edit: I suppose there still needs to be an overall winner for the apps image but I think my idea above sounds fun.

TunerStudio MS is a software that works on Linux that let's you tune your Mega Squirt, which is an open source ECU for cars.

If you have an old Rover V8 14CUX engine you can use RoverGauge on Linux to see some basic engine diagnostics.

Would this work in Heroic on Linux?

I've read in the past that Google makes the OS for some flip phones, so yes. You could get a Punkt dumb phone that shouldn't spy on you

What does the catch em all mode do in cross? Does that let you catch more Pokemon than were available in vanilla Emerald? I don't mind that too much as long as the extra Pokemon are only in new areas. I mainly like vanilla Emerald but like QoL improvements with physical special split which Cross has

Look at the list of available phones for each OS and verify that they can use the cell towers in the USA. Most will be able to. Calyx can work with Motorola phones that are cheaper than pixels but last I used Calyx which was years ago it didn't function as well as Graphene with their sandboxed Google Play services. Since you're just beginning I imagine you'll still use some proprietary apps and Graphene will make that transition much easier.

I totally agree with you

That looks awesome. Glad to see it's on GoG

Does anyone have opinions on Revelation vs Emerald Cross? Both are vanilla+ experiences of Pokémon Emerald for the GBA. They both look very good but I would like to enjoy the one that that is the better vanilla+ experience.

For comparison, I'm nearing beating the Pokemon league in Polished Crystal and absolutely love the game.

On the Retroid Pocket Mini V2 can Rocknix be installed as the sole OS while completely removing Android? I've only seen reference to dual booting when searching online.

Hey everyone, I've been a long time photographer on a hiatus. Ever since learning about the existence of EQ mounts I have been excited to get back into photography and try the astro side of it.

I have a 300mm f/2.8 lens for my DSLR and am wondering if that focal length is any good. Thanks!

I don't use Discord much anymore and haven't used this program but this looks like a nice 3rd party Discord flatpak. It supports screensharing on Wayland. Just thought I'd share with the community

I just noticed today that Signal (not talking Molly) is now available on F-Droid via the "Guardian" repository.

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up.

I'm wondering if anyone knows of a modern designed case (preferably SFF) that has retro asthetics. Examples would be the SilverStone FLP01 and Ayaneo's Retro Mini PCs.

Are there any reviewers on YouTube/Rumble/etc. or independent blogs that don't post affiliate links, aren't sponsored by the printer company, or had one sent out by the company? Those to me all seem like a conflict of interest.

Yes people need to make money, I'm not blind to that, but they can advertise other things that aren't a direct conflict of interest.

I'm looking to get my first printer and would like to get info from an unbiased source. I just don't know enough to weed through the million 3D printer channels.

The Sovol SV06 Ace seems nice with little research as it is large enough to print the project I have in mind and uses open source firmware (Klipper) which is a must for me.

I'm just getting back into Legos and recieved the 10317 Defender kit for the holidays. I would rather it have white wheels (I don't mind painting) and found that there was a past model wheel that came in white. The only difference is the axle style. Instead of the cross pattern it looks more like a half cross. What is this pattern called? Is it compatible with the cross pattern? It looks like it could be.

Umbrella (lemmy.today)

Anyone else getting Umbrella "No stream available" errors?

I had watched stuff, shutdown, next day tried watching the same thing again as well as other shows/movies and got the error. No changes to the program or service. Now the majority of shows and movies give the error

I have the Miyoo Mini+. I originally used MinUI and it saved games like a normal GBA and loaded the game to the menu everytime I started it, again like a standard GBA worked. I switched to OnionOS to have a nicer interface with boxart and now it only uses save states and auto starts from said state when opening a game. Not an authentic experience.

I have learned there's a difference between game saves and save states but don't know how to switch my handheld to use only game saves. Is it based on the core used maybe? Can anyone help me out?

If someone reports you for doing anything against their ToS on other websites then it will hold consequences.

This is another reason why privacy matters. Have different user names on different platforms so you can't be linked. I don't condone treating other people poorly however this leads to more control, especially with how crazy ToS/EULAs are and how they are ever changing.

I'm seeing family over the holidays and they really enjoy comic book stuff and video games. I don't know much about comics and am looking for suggestions on classic comic book based games I can load on my RPi and bring over to play. All I'm aware of are some of the Marvel vs Capcom fighting games but maybe there are others. Any ideas?
