TILvids is a good instance, thank you! And I really am grateful that Nick is keeping Peertube alive with his frequent uploads.

I've been fortunate to stumble upon an example of a personal favorite video format of mine on Peertube, in the form of this video essay on GTA Online by Dazego Games. https://spectra.video/w/iQpHFoMH95kYMg2ed6tqom

Though I haven't seen much of his videos, AwesomeKalin 55 seems to be trying to help fill the niche of gaming content on Peertube with their 5 minute Minecraft episodes. https://video.hardlimit.com/c/awesomekalin_55/videos

good call; I've got a few of them hidden away in my library, but haven't yet given them a proper go. I think I will, thanks.

blahaj local here, I believe that there is little to be gained from allowing continued linking to these walled gardens (especially since accessing anything on Twitter without an account is more of a hassle than it's worth.) I think it would be good to cut off the Twitter links, possibly with the rare exception for archive pages deemed able to promote discussion well enough to be worth compromise?

Shortly after the release of the TV show I realized that Fallout won't ever be what I hoped for again, and I've made my peace with the fact that it's going in it's own direction now. But I'd be damned if I didn't still yearn for what those older games had. Still haven't found something to fill that void. (Though a copious Fallout modding hobby certainly has helped me see a Fallout with some of those problems resolved.)

I really love these kinds of Fallout art, they just harkon towards the image of Fallout being a true TTRPG. I wouldn't blink twice to see this in a Fallout: A Post-Nuclear Role-playing Game rulebook. This one by Adam Adamowicz gives me a similar feel.

I heard there was a gang of folks wearing football uniforms in town, please be careful!

It's hard to describe how formative the theme of progress between the west coast games was to my interests, which is something the east coast games sorely lack. There's a little hope though that the new TV show could give closure, if nothing else for the west. (Even with it's own questionable choices.)

Truly, I don't think the designs of the Advanced Power Armor and the M72 Gauss Rifle will ever leave my mind. It's a real shame we won't get to see that style again as the series continues.

I've gotta say, the OG combat armor really nails the whole 'retrofuture' style, I think I've just got a fondness for the grit of Adamowicz' designs. And honestly, who doesn't love the NCR Veteran Ranger armor, I had to stop myself from using it as the image just to not taint the discussion.

Personally, my favorite depiction probably has to be the winterized combat armor from the Operation Anchorage DLC, which finds a neat balance between the sleekness of the classic Fallout designs and the more realistic modular look found in later games.

Hey, a bit late to the party (although I did give it consideration back when this post first came out), but given the state of the community and everything to do with the corporate web, I would love to throw my hat into the ring to help build a community here. Will also send a private message.
