@[email protected] oof. I would have to look for a ROM hack… but if there is one for the Master System, why not!

@[email protected] i think there is no other RPG of this scale on the GameGear…
There is Lunar, which is a JRPG, but quite different in style and scope from Ultima IV… and RPGs are not the biggest genre on the GG anyway…
Ultima IV of course has the eight virtues as its main theme. The quest of becoming a good person.
The introduction is quite elaborate and nicely drawn.
Oh what a coincidence!

Inside the pub it‘s open mic night for the local poets. We grab some taffy and beer and make haste. Not much to do yet!
By the way: what is the beer for? I don’t think we used it later…
The backdoor leads to a pub. It is closed however. But next to the door are colored buttons that open the door. By using the combination from the dragonfly tree AGAIN!
Inside the building is a shop for the local ferry line and the mustard cartel. The shopkeeper however seems to be in trance. This is actually a puzzle I didn’t quite get. For some reason we can heal all the people in trance state by giving them the skeptic potion… why…??
The map shows our destination: the volcano island. But the ship only goes to a different island.
Past the city gate we find a cozy place. Apart from our trusty stick there is not much else to discover here. So we enter the sole building on this screen…
@dentaku true! But after the Donald Duck games Sierra didn’t port any games to the C64 anymore. King‘s Quest probably would have been possible, as it was also on the Apple II. But the other games probably required at least 128K or even more.
