Ah, I assume you missed it. Last month’s Humble Bundle did include Cyberpunk Red.

https://ttrpg.network/post/21905985

It was kinda pricey, though.

Apparently this is an old Bundle from 2020.

If you're only interested in The Expanse, I'm afraid it's only available in the higher tier,

The lower tier includes: Modern AGE Basic Rulebook, Modern AGE Companion, Threefold, Enemies & Allies, Missions: Warflower, Modern AGE Game Master's Kit

The higher tier includes: The Expanse RPG, Ships of the Expanse, The Expanse Game Master's Kit, The Expanse: Abzu's Bounty, The Expanse: Salvage Op

Cool. Hadn't even heard of that one.

Gave it a quick glance... apparently it doesn't "break character" absolutely anywhere.

Official rules for sneaking, rather than fighting, through a net architecture are now available for Cyberpunk RED. They are straightforward: a contested Interface check between the netrunner and daemons/dwellers in the arch:

To establish stealth in a NET Architecture, you have to spend an additional NET Action when you Jack In. When you do, you roll a contested Interface Check (Interface + 1d10 vs Interface + 1d10) against all Watchers (Demons, enemy Netrunners … and other entities with an Interface Rank) currently in the Architecture. If you beat them all, you successfully establish stealth and enter the system undetected.

Once the netrunner is in, they need to make a similar check against any Black Ice they encounter:

When a Netrunner encounters a Black ICE while in stealth, they roll Interface + any bonus to Cloak Checks + 1d10 vs the Black ICE’s Perception + 1d10 instead of performing a Speed Check.

Once the netrunner fails the perception check, they are no longer sneaking and normal rules apply.

I'm glad there are more options for netrunners now. I hope RTal adds more options in future.

I think it’s just because Lemmy (and the fediverse) doesn’t yet have a critical mass.

Before creating [email protected] I was thinking about creating a community for Traveller alone. But I decided to poll several other places beforehand. Not a lot of people showed interest. That’s why I decided to create a more general community.

I share your need for activity. I really do. I just don’t have much to offer. At least at the moment. I’ve been dabbling with mapmaking lately, but I’m not prolific enough. I have plans, oh yes, quite a few ideas brewing and bubbling, but nothing to show. Yet.

It’s very common, expected really, to have many more consumers than producers in any social network. But I’m still here. And I’d bet a few more are also around. Lurking? (I love that word when used so casually)

We’re listening.

Last month, Graham Richardson (Lionhearth Games) organized the TripTech Game Jam, where contestants would create Tripanels (you know, the form factor of those pamphlets that fold in three) for Mothership.

Anyway, all 39 submissions are listed at the bottom of the page:

https://itch.io/jam/triptech-game-jam-052025

I found out about this jam thanks to this video by Dave Thaumavore in which he talks about the experience of being part of the jam and then shows off a few of the tripanels.

Perhaps not with those exact names, but there’s a fix:

We have a new Monthly Drop...

Kultists! It's been a while, huh? A year since the last Breaking Point, to be precise. Now, as you may know, we're gearing up to release the KULT Drops in print and I dusted some old ideas of mine to finally finish this little (and beloved!) project.

https://bit.ly/kultdrops

Original X post: https://x.com/KultRPG/status/1927707849171329026>

And an excerpt from page 1:

Breaking Point: Suit of Roses is the thirteenth monthly small release for KULT: Divinity Lost. This release features nine changes a Broken player-character could experience, all of which are based on the KULT Tarot. As the Gamemaster, you are invited to change and adapt them to better fit your story, as well as attach any other effects relevant to what caused the PC to break. Other suits will be released in the near future.

A nice freebie for spanish-speaking (spanish-reading?) sci-fi genre enthusiasts. Of course, you can still browse it, enjoy the art and get inspiration even if you can't read spanish.

https://grapasymapas.com/cosmophobia

"A role playing game themed on Sci-Fi and corpoorate horror"

Edit: There's another Sci-Fi game in the same site, but with less horror, called Vieja Estrella:

https://grapasymapas.com/viejaestrella

The whole site is devoted to providing free RPG stuff in Spanish in a very English-dominant hobby (though they also have their fantasy offering in Galician, French, Basque, Portuguese, and Catalan). Most of their stuff has very simple mechanics and a very old-school vibe.

With mayday around the corner, offers are starting to pop up. One such is this Bundle of Holding which includes This is Free Trader Beowolf (and only that).

And yes, the discount is good. But I do try my best to only buy stuff that I actually want/need. Sometimes I even succeed ;).

So I come here asking for your opinion.

Is it worth it? Do you love it?

Well it's fixed now.. so I didn't even get to clear cache and retry. But I did try opening on another browser (before writing my comment above) with similar results.

I want to be able to report a bug to the developers, but I have no idea what to tell them that might be useful. I guess I can dive into their issues tracker and take it from there.

Uhm... something's off again on my side.

Are there specific symptoms I should be looking into?

[–] [email protected] 3 points 4 months ago

There's also [email protected] which should have some overlap with cyberpunk.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 4 months ago

I must confess I’ve never tried his builds. Mostly because I don’t have easy access to a color printer and the last time I tried grayscale papercraft it was underwhelming.

Alas, I usually try making fantasy ruins out of cardboard and scraps. If it ends up crooked, the more ruined they look. 😉
