I want to bring up "Silent Legions". It's an OSR horror game by Kevin Crawford. Softcover is $25 on drive thru rpg. It has tools for setting up Antagonists and world creation. Its simpler to run than Call of Cthulhu and cheaper than Delta Green. Great system and uses the same OSR style system as any of his other stuff so is real easy to learn and run.

I have to believe that he wanted to be caught to prove something. To plan everything out to get caught with all that stuff on you makes no sense..

OK. So I have several years experience. started in wrestling and judo for several years. Then did BJJ, boxing and muay thai for 7 years.

The basics are really boxing and wrestling. I include Judo as jacketed wrestling in this. They will be cheaper and more realistic than BJJ or Muay thai. After all these years of BJJ, the submissions in Judo are still the most common (RNC, Gi chokes, bent and straight armbars, and pins and escapes) both in MMA and in street altercations.

The basic 4 punches are also the most encountered and easy to use in mixed footing. In a street encounter if you are forced to fight, you may not have room to kick. And honestly, you won't have the time to "cook" anyone on the ground BJJ style.

Your number 1 priority is to escape, run away and live. If you have to fight, run away if you have an avenue. If you are unable to escape, throw the guy on the ground and run. If you fall or are taken down, get up off the ground (pin escapes) and run. If you have to strike, footwork, the old 1-2 and run...

I can talk about MMA all day since I trained it for so long and have trained with so many ammy and mma fighters.

Bang for the buck techniques:

Striking: Jab, Cross,

Takedowns: Double leg, Body clinch

Escapes: Wrestling Stand up, BJJ technical stand up, Mount escapes, Side control escapes

Submissions: RNC, Guillotine, head and arm triangle (All can be done from standing)****

Nobody taps to joint locks in a real fight, they barely tap in MMA honestly. Chokes only..

If you have the time, I recommend the Southpaw podcast and program. They have a "Liberation Martial Arts" program that is made to facilitate group study without having to depend on an instructor. Most MMA and martial arts gyms are right wing both in atmosphere and philosophy, so the idea is to create a space that isn't hostile to leftists. And the creator is/was a BJJ instructor (black belt) and a Socialist.

You can do body and leg only contact OR light head contact (not as good). Your sparring partners have to be in on itas well. So if you have a CHUD gym, you're in trouble...

This is probably very likely. Do we think Liz Cheney is going to vote straight Democrat down the ballot? All this shifting to right wing points to get Republican votes could mean Harris wins the Presidency, and then the Rep voters switch back for every other race..

And "a felon" should never become President? Wot? Like Presidents don't commit crimes, that people aren't convicted unjustly, and that people become rehabilitated. This election has been really telling...

The classic explanation (at least how it ends up being used)...

This is already widespread, just in private hands. The youtube comments are like 60% bots, especially on political content. "Randomnames1914: I'm a (random age) (random ethnicity and gender) and I will be voting for Candidate Y!" The sock puppet use and AI content makes the internet truly garbage now. It'll soon be FBI ad State Department entrapment bots talking to Marketing bots on an AI generated video or article...

I loved GURPS. My brother and I played all the time. Also want to shout out Kevin Crawford's Stars without Number if you're looking for a scifi game. He has a free to download basic version, which is fully playable, and a paid version which has some optional rules and tools..

I prefer Basic fantasy for fantasy gaming but Worlds Without Number is also a great option (again free and premium versions)..

Basic Fantasy is simple to learn, AND ALL THE BOOKS ARE FREE!!! https://www.basicfantasy.org/

The books are also on amazon at like 6-10 a piece if you're in the US.

It's based on the OSR (i.e. Original DnD rules but updated)...

Now how does someone get this far reading radical black writers and totally miss the socialist framework? Liberalism is a hell of a drug..

Also Basic Fantasy is free to download. Books are like $8 or something on Amazon. I run it a lot because I can't stand breaking the flow to look up tables or Feats or abilities. Just the fundamentals there, and you can buy a book for each player if you want without going broke. Or they can download everything for free...
