They could do a better job connecting with customers by shutting the fuck up and not making stupid claims and graphs. If this AI blows up and they take it offline after laying off their marketing staff, it could actually be an improvement for the consumer lmao

boost probably does too, but boost for lemmy is superior. that's what I use

I'm happy that the people who built tools of terror (that are of particular significance to me) are getting fucked. I'm not happy which way/fashion they're getting fucked. We're on the same page here.

I'm not gonna write paragraphs about the nature of oppression and theory of state building, I don't think that's gonna help anyone. Simply stating my feelings about one particular oppressor. I don't even know if they're gonna be dethroned. But I do know the people of that country (and those of perpetrating ones) have infinitely more power over their future than my words on here. And my actions support neither side.

That's not how it works.

How what works? My feelings about the situation?

I still have Stealth, though browsers are probably better since you get more control and therefore privacy

Same, used a workaround for a while but then got tired of it and my favorite client got a lemmy version. Smaller places are more fun.

I'm glad that at least one oppressor gets to the "find out" part. I'm sad it's not mainly the people they've been oppressing that are doing it.

Let's hope that changes when it's the others' turn.

After Georgia "stuff" blew up though. And everything before that. And let's be real, you could see who would be their head today even back in 2013.
He deserved better.

They managed to make a worse version of their recursion easter egg, impressive

It's just one relatively shit outlet, not an entire country's "media". Go ahead and try looking up their staff, bc their website and (small) twitter page are just your average aggregator with no "about us" page in sight. FFS their telegram page, which is most likely the most used network in Ukraine has 13 subs. It's not a good source.

A social media influence campaign doesn't even have to be physically based within the country running it

So much this. If anyone is morbidly curious, look into where kiwifarms were hosted and who it was aimed at. In short: on the other side of the world from their target audience.

A desperate/unchecked hosting service and not a lot of money would give you a good launchpad. We live in outsourcing times, you probably don't even need to put in all that much effort yourself.

Don't feed them.
