As there are far less drivers than customers, I'd expect it to be much easier to sort out drivers with bad intentions. I guess if you sign up as an Uber driver you have to undergo at least some minimum level of identification (drivers license etc.). A perverted customer can sign up as 'Lisa Nicegirl' today and 'Jenny Innocent' tomorrow.

Nicht unbedingt mehr. Ich habe deinen Kommentar als "Leute, die im Tourismus arbeiten wählen tendenziell nicht / weniger AfD" verstanden. Diese These erscheint zwar irgendwo einleuchtend, ist aber aus meiner Sicht trotzdem erstmal anzuzweifeln.

Es haben auch jede Menge Frauen, Latinos usw. Trump gewählt. Und massenhaft Leute der unteren Einkommensschicht wählen AfD, obwohl diese eher Politik für die "Oberen" macht.

Ich würde mir ehrlich gesagt nicht (mehr) zutrauen, aufgrund irgendwelcher vermeintlich logischen Zusammenhänge Rückschlüsse auf das Wahlverhalten von Menschen zu ziehen, wenn es dazu keine Studien o.ä. gibt.

Wäre ich mir nicht so sicher. Mit logischen Zusammenhängen hat das ja alles nichts mehr zu tun. Oder gibt's ne Untersuchung dazu, wo Wahlergebnisse in touristischen Gebieten systematisch mit nicht touristischen verglichen wurden?

Assuming they release a list. How would we ever know that it's legit and complete? I mean what if they just come up with something like Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Hunter Biden etc. but none of their own people. And even if they released the real list and Trump was on there, would that really be sufficient to have legal consequences? Most likely it doesn't contain proofs for every single crime commited with dates, victims etc. along Epstein's customers. So even with the list being published, Trump would probably just claim it to be harmless and nothing would happen.

Don't get me wrong, I'd still appreciate the list being released. I just don't have much hope that it will lead to real changes.

I know about some disadvantages of dams but I'm not sure if - in many regions - we have much of an alternative to buffer water over different seasons. We used to have huge glaciers in the mountains which retained snow in winter and released water in summer. But as more and more glaciers disappear, we have to come up with artificial measures to store water for agriculture, drinking water etc.

If we then can harvest electricity on top, that's a nice byproduct from my perspective.
