My old person trait is that I think it’s insulting for there to be an option to tip when going through a drive through.
Can anyone attest, is this true?

The Fediverse has this really organic, underground feel to it that I don’t think I want to lose.
If people want to leave Reddit/Twitter/Facebook/whatever and come to Fedi, I don’t mind there being a 1-hour learning curve to read an intro, find an instance, and sign up.
Peeps who aren’t willing to do that are probably better off on other social media.
Is there a reason to want to compete with Mainstream Social Media?

Wish I could help ya. You definitely want a hardened finish like poly or shellac, but shellac is going to stink up your home if you can’t remove the banisters to finish.
I’ve had a lot of luck with beeswax for a finish, but more for boxes than furniture. There are a lot of great bands out there, though you’d probably have to reapply every 6-12 months (which would get tedious)
