Language evolves constantly. If people use a word and can understand its meaning and context then it’s a perfectly cromulent option.

The annexation threats really turned my sea-sailing habit into a spiteful obsession.

I’m all in on these NFTs, bros. Ain’t no way I’m missing the revolution!

Empathetic yet politically exhausted Canadian reporting in.

I feel just awful for those losing their healthcare over there. But I’ll be grateful for the influx of doctors and specialists that trickle in as the smaller hospitals are projected to close.

In not an appropriate analogy. We are not just the people in the car, we are the whole neighborhood.

Even if the people in the car cannot prevent a crash by braking, they can still prevent further damage to people and property by braking as much as possible while within their means.

From out of nowhere the researcher made the uncanny observation. Nothing would ever be the same ever.

But it’s not going to work. The argument assumes standard negotiation rules are in play. This is a bully who’s willing to blow up the trade deal because he thinks even a loss will be an annexation win.

Can you share what you’re using for photos backups instead of iCloud? I haven’t found a service that’s family-friendly enough to get buy in my my partner.

If this pricing model is permitted it should be forced to put products on sale when items are overstocked or expiring food is closer to its due date. Why am I paying more for salmon at dinner time but not less when it expires tomorrow?

I’m worried for my girl Greta. But she has nerves of steel staring down the IDF.

5-6 hours a week to exercise seems like a dream to me. I have to fight tooth and nail for 2-3 hours or dedicated space.

And yes getting fit is hard but once you do it feels so much better to do literally anything. Slow and steady gets you there.

I think my employer saw the Shopify CEO’s mandatory AI memo and got a little overexcited.

As a web developer I’ve tried copilot and disliked it immensely. It didn’t save me time because my syntax memory and minimal keystroke workflow are pretty decent after 20 years of huckin’ HTML and CSS in various frameworks.

I feel like if I give studies or interviews from companies who FAFOd I’d have a better chance of arguing my point. Does anybody have any in their back pocket they can spare?

Yes, I am very aware of the irony that I could try to ask an AI but avoiding it is kind of the point in this c, isn’t it?

Just figured it’s worth a mention. It still has FB and IG but it’s nice to see some distance between the worst offender.

I haven’t received any flyers from other parties yet. This is the first time I’ve seen a Bluesky icon in print from any source so it’s kind of novel.

Silly answers only. We need a laugh or two in spite of another day of stupid news.
