Protest votes are supposed to hurt. The point is to motivate candidates to do better through the threat of loss of power.

The Witch and Annihilation aren't that bad. Bone Tomahawk and Midsommar were pretty jarring. Maniac was traumatizing, not on this list. The anime Ajin. Basket Case. The Sadness.
