Je suis d'accord. Still convient mieux. C'est immobile mais très vivant pour moi. On est sur une scène de rue animée tout de même.

it shows straight quavers. In English, I’d normally sing it with a swung rhythm, alternating crotchets and quavers.

You lost me here, sorry. I don't speak musik neither in english or french.

I don't know much about cheese making but the use of the verb "battre" has always intringed me. Butter is beaten (at least in french). Cream and some sort of cream or cottage cheese are whipped. But in french cream cheese or cottage cheese are closer too quick cheese or cheese subproduct than cheese. So why? I wonder.

La représentation d'être humain au travers des figurines lego n'implique-t-elle pas que ce ne soit pas une nature morte ?

The Famer in the Dell is quite close to the french one. But at our end everyone "beat the cheese". Like you sometimes "beat" dairy product to make them. I'm not sure how to translate it in English.

Ah ha ! As a kid I was stunned by how violente the death of Bruce Wayne parents were. All this for jewelery? I get it now. That's just cultural chock. Less pickpocketing more robbery.

Certainly not assault. Most (french) people catching a thief inside their pocket have a bad enough day to not risk getting injured while winning a prison ticket.

I love to hear about english nursery rymes. It is very interesting this one remind me of the less grim "le fermier dans son pré". But this french nursery ryme doesn't look anything like what is happening in the book.

Thank you. But that's funny. I don't live close to Georgia and usually hardly hear about the country. But for some reason, opening a random english-speaking internet community my mind went straight to this country. I don't know why. Maybe because I hardly hear about the US state as well. Maybe idk...

Oh... I thought it was the country of Georgia until the US suprem court was mentioned.

From Toronto Wildlife Centre

Senior Wildlife Rehabilitator Myriam peered into the enclosure, excited to see the great horned owl perching confidently! Just five days ago, the injured bird was so weak he couldn't stand on his own, lying on his chest with his little legs outstretched behind him. Kind Phobe sought help after noticing him in her garden, hopping around and unable to take off.

Once admitted to Toronto Wildlife Centre, the Veterinary Team discovered the owl could barely take a few steps before collapsing. He had suffered head and trauma, along with painful eye injuries - likely the result of flying into a window. Veterinarian Dr. Alexis DeMong gave him medication and fluids, and since he couldn't eat on his own, the Rehabilitation Team also began a hand-feeding plan.

Thanks to the incredible care he received, he began to recover. First he ate on his own, then he stood all by himself, then he started walking without falling. Finally, after just three weeks, he was flying again!

The wild animal is now with our friends at @TheOwlFoundation, where he's receiving continued care until he's ready for a new start to his wild life!

I'll bring you straight into my mind: I was scrolling throught the n-th depressing post of the ~~day~~ hour and I thought "If I answer that post/comment by #negativity, will other people be able to filter out this content using my answer?" If not, how could we build some sort of blocklist for people to curate there experience on the fediverse.

I know I can block key word like "politics" "Trump" "Elon" but sometimes it doesn't have a precised word yet use human can categorise it easily.
